Supernatural Spoiler Squeefest! - 4x21
May. 4th, 2009 03:49 amIt's time to talk, squee, flail, and speculate about this week's new episode.
The Rules: The idea for this series of posts is to discuss, debate, and yes, squee, about spoilers for SPN's next new episode. Anything is open here: script sides, spoilers, and rumors. All I ask is that everyone be considerate and well-behaved.
Warning: If you are avoiding spoilers of any kind, stay away from this post!

Let's talk spoilers!!! *squeeeeeeeeeeee*
What We Know:
Episode 4.21 - “When The Levee Breaks”
written by Sera Gamble and directed by Robert Singer
Official Description from The CW:
DEAN AND BOBBY TRAP SAM IN THE PANIC ROOM — Dean and Bobby lock Sam in Bobby’s panic room so he can detox from the demon blood. However, as Bobby sees more seals are being broken he tells Dean they should let Sam out to help them fight the impending apocalypse. Dean disagrees and goes to Castiel for help. Sam and Dean have a big blowout confrontation.
Further info from Supernatural Hunters Addict:
* Sam and Ruby try to kill Lilith; Zachariah and Castiel tell Dean he must play his part in stopping Lucifer. {SpoilerTV.Com}
* Might Be Rumours - Castiel, in a last ditch effort to save Sam from himself, takes him on a spiritual journey deep into his soul. However, the intensity of the situation may very well push Sam to the very breaking point Castiel is trying to save him from.
* Sam will get a chance to get inside his soul in episode 21. It’s beyond intense. [Sera Gamble]
* There’s a lot of intense Sam stuff coming…The Sam stuff — it’s not the sweet Sam from Stanford. I think Sam is going through the hardest stuff of his entire life.” [Sera Gamble]
* This episode may feature an appearance by Sam and Dean’s mother, Mary. [Samantha Smith]
Note: This last one is confirmed by the Space Promo
Other, more generalized spoilers and rumors involving this episode from Supernatural Hunters Addict (and edited by me):
- We will learn some more about Bobby’s relationship with John Winchester and Bobby’s thoughts regarding John’s parenting [Jim Beaver]
- Sam is addicted to demon blood, which causes Bobby and Dean to take him prisoner to stage an intervention. Bobby belts Sam in the mouth. [Kristin] and [Jim Beaver's MySpace]
Spoilers from TWOP:
-Bobby belts Sam in the mouth and argues with Dean about whether they should let Sam die or not.[Kristin] and [Jim Beaver's MySpace]
-Bobby and Dean [are] trying to come to terms with Sam's addiction to demon blood, which, you know, that's not a good thing. No addiction is a good but demon blood - that's really one of the worst. Bobby and Dean kind of end up nose-to-nose over how to handle the issue. [Jim Beaver Interview]
-Dean and Bobby don't completely agree on how to handle [the addiction], and things get heated... Bobby's always had a pretty good insight into how much guilt Dean carries for not living up to what he thinks his father would have done. You're going to see Bobby try to help Dean with that...There are some luscious scenes coming up - really strong stuff between me and Jensen [Ackles] in particular. [Jim Beaver]
-The boys hear from Rufus in this episode. [Mega Buzz]
-"The model of an addict bottoming out and becoming basically something else, almost a creature of reflex, is one of the things he's [Sam] going to have to face. And that's going to make trouble for Dean and Sam—they don't agree on this particular issue. Dean's not happy about it." [Ben Edlund Interview]
My Thoughts:
:: This is going to be one intense episode! I can't wait for Thursday. *rubs hands in anticipation* :D
:: At the same time, I know the boys are going to break my heart into tiny pieces. *wibbles*
:: It's going to be interesting to see who all shows up in Sam's hallucinations. We already know about Alastair and Mary, but it also looks like Dean will show up (rather scarily, too). I've also heart rumors that Colin Ford will make an appearance in this eppy, so....young Sammy talking to his older self?
:: Since the rumor is Rufus from S3 is heard from in this eppy, I'm really curious about what info. he passes along.
:: Can't wait to see how Sam gets out of the Panic Room.
:: I'm sensing there's still love for Sam from Dean in the promo video (about him being unwilling to give Sam demon blood so he won't become "a monster"). But how do we get from that to the scene from the "Soon" promo (which is probably from 4x22) of Dean telling Sam that if he walks out the door to never come back? What on earth finally makes the brothers break apart? *cries for the boys*
:: Just what is the procedure to break someone of demon blood addiction? Can't wait to see what Bobby and Dean have planned.
:: I'm going to be a wreck after this eppy...I totally predict it.
