My Bloody Valentine 3D - Thoughts

I'm sure I'm one of the last people to see Jensen's movie, but yes, at last I have seen it.
After having the download on my desktop for a month or two, I finally decided to watch the film. I'm not much for slasher flicks (haven't really seen many either), but I enjoyed it. It was fun, enjoyable, the gore was nicely done, and of course, Jensen looked amazing. There were a few moments where I saw shades of Dean in his performance, but there were other times where I didn't notice it at all. I will admit to giggling every time he swore, only because I'm not used to Jensen using that kind of language on the TV series he's been on.
Loved the twist at the end though I did suspect it was Tom (after Axel, who I suspected first). Although in a way, it really was Harry all along, back from the dead as it were. They left it completely open for a sequel, but I've heard that won't be happening. Maybe it's just as well. Too many times sequels are made that really aren't needed. As much as I love seeing Jensen play the hero, he's equally adept and delicious playing the bad guy and I enjoyed seeing him morph into a killer.
I'll no doubt buy the film on DVD and look forward to seeing it with the full 3D experience. :D
A few caps I grabbed from my download of the film.
All cropped & fixed by me.
