I'm in shock. I grew up watching the original Kung Fu TV series. Then I fell in love with the second series in the 90s, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. I even read his autobiography, which is an excellent read, btw. What a life he had, full of so many experiences.
The man was a part of Hollywood royalty. His talent in acting and martial arts...I can't believe he's gone. The report says he was in Bangkok, working on a film and was found hanged in his hotel room. Why? I don't understand why he would take his own life.
My heart goes out to his family & friends.
I thought I'd share a few of my favorite quotes from Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, by David Carradine's character, Kwai Chang Caine. They seem very fitting now.
