raloriaI'm only just now getting online after being off for around 20 hours. *sigh*
It was a little after midnight when I got on, but my Clearwire was all screwy and wouldn't connect. I haven't seen it like this since New Year's. So I tried all the usual tricks, no dice. I waited, I did something else (went back to capping ELAC - heh), and still nothing. I tried unplugging it for a while to give it a little rest. Hooked it back up and it was still searching. Then, about 20 minutes ago I saw a glimmer of signal. Hope!!!! I worked it, repositioned the modem, and the signal was getting stronger and close to connecting. Finally it worked! Yay!!!!!! I haz my internets back!!!! *iz happy geek girl* :D
My only guess is maybe the loss in signal might have been connected to the turning off of the analog TV signal tonight to go to all digital broadcasting here in the U.S. Maybe somehow it's connected in the case of Clearwire? Anyhoo....I'm just thrilled it's back and working. I was about ready to give up and call it a night.
Now it's time to catch up on my flist after the long day and night....*goes*
Btw, the connection is still a little shaky, but at least it's working more than it was. I'll try to get the Just 'Cause cap posted very soon. Just in case.
