Now I can go icon crazy!
Jun. 3rd, 2007 10:52 pmThings have been a little quiet around here for a couple of days, so it seems a little status report is in order. This will be a bit of a random post, so bear with me!
* First of all...I upgraded my account and now I've got room for 105 icons!!!!! Yay! \0/ Don't know where the extra 5 came from, but I'm not complaining. ;) Check out my latest addition *points excitedly to icon* which I made last night from the latest images posted of Jensen for "A Few Good Men". I can't wait to start making more new icons. :D
* Just finished watching rerun of AHBL part 2. Parts of it still bring me to tears. Like Dean's talk to Sam's body, the scene between Dean & Bobby, Dean saying "That was for our mom, you son of a bitch.", and the final scene. *wibble* The episode hasn't lost any of its power, even after repeated viewings. Now that the CW is done screwing up the order of the reruns we can get back on track and enjoy the rest of the season.
* I finally got caught up with all my replies! There are a few here and there that I didn't bother with because it wouldn't make any sense to reply back at such a late date. If you left me a comment and you wanted a reply and didn't get one, just let me know with a comment here and I'll get back to you. It feels great to finally be done with all that for a little while. I was over a week behind! Of course, all it'll take is my picspam posts for this week and I'm sure I'll be behind again. :P
* Having my replies done also means that I'll have some time to check out all of my flist's LJs. Hopefully you'll be seeing some comments from me for once! :)
* Recently watched DVDs: "Blood & Sand" (Tyrone Power), "Son Of Fury" (Tyrone Power), Season 9 of Frasier, "Toy Story", Pilot episode of WKRP In Cincinnatti (season 1).
* Watched "Ocean's Twelve" on CBS last night. I'd seen the movie a few months ago and wasn't quite sure that I liked it as much as the first one. It seemed so disjointed and sometimes it was very difficult to keep track of what was going on. However, with a second viewing, I decided I liked it after all. Now I'll have to get the DVD to add to my collection. The 3rd one, "Ocean's 13" looks great. I don't care what anybody says...I like George Clooney. :P
* I posted my last fanfic "Unwilling To Let Go" to FanFiction.net and got a good reaction over there. I've had some requests to continue on with the story and have Sam go down into Hell to get Dean. So I'm currently working on that right now. It's all in my head thus far, as I'm still sorting out certain elements. I decided to do a little research on Hell. What a weird experience! It felt just a little strange typing "hell" into Google and then looking through the results. Not exactly something one researches everyday. I didn't find out much more than I already knew from books such as Dante's "The Inferno". I had read that book about 10 years ago when I took some humanities classes in college. I thought it was a great, vividly written tale. I'm sort of using "The Inferno" as my starting point and adding my own ideas into the mix as far as what Hell will look like and what Dean will be facing down there.
* I haven't done any capping for this week's SPN picspams, but never fear. I'm sure I'll get them done in time. We have Something Wicked and Tall Tales this week. For DA we finish up with caps from Fuhgeddaboudit with a special surprise to download as a bonus. Meanwhile, I'm going to be posting a little special picspam very shortly.
