*if you could have any profession in the world, what would it be?
Hoo! This one's kind of a toughie. Naturally, it would be in the film/TV industry. If I wasn't an editor, I'd probably be a Script Supervisor. Not only are you in the thick of the action, you work side by side with the director and the actors. There could be nothing better for a filmset hound like me! I love being on the set, feeling the excitement of every take, working with the people.
**when did you first discover Jensen?
When he first appeared as Ben on Season One of Dark Angel. I've been hooked ever since.
***how long have you lived where you do currently and why did you move there?
I still live, with my mom, in the home I grew up in - I've been here all my life.
****how long have you been interested in film making and what do you want to do when you're done school?
Another one that requires a long answer...back when the original Star Wars first came out and I was just a kid, my mom bought all sorts of magazines featuring articles about how it was made. As soon as I could read I looked through them and was fascinated by how movies were made. As I grew older I ended up buying magazines myself on the subject. So I've been interested in filmmaking for most of my life. For years I longed to be on a real movie set and a few years ago I got my wish by being the Script Supervisor on my first student film production. As far as what I want to do once I'm done with school, I hope to be a movie/video editor. Sadly, finding a steady job in the Seattle area in that profession isn't so easy anymore. With everything being shot up in Vancouver (yes, even SPN), the film industry in WA has almost died. Independent films are still shot here by local filmmakers, but it's nothing like it was back when the TV series Northern Exposure filmed here. Everyone works freelance now. So that's my plan as soon as I can get a laptop with Final Cut Pro.
*****free question: tell me something random about you that you think i'd find interesting....
Random? Interesting? Hmmmm....I absolutely love chocolate! But I can't stand when it's messed up by fruit of any kind. Chocolate covered raisins? Yuck! Orange-flavored chocolate? Puleeeze! Strawberries dipped in chocolate? No way! I'll take chocolate plain, or with caramel or with nuts, but nooooo fruit, thank you very much! :) Sorry, it's not too interesting, but it's the only thing I could come up with at this time.

Dean all happy in WIAWSNB as he watches Sam and Jessica kiss. Dean is such an awesome big brother, all happy to see his little brother with his girlfriend again. This cap was actually made from my DVD recording of the episode.
I always loved this image of Dean from TUS. His eyes are just so expressive.
I claimed Dean as my hero early on when I joined the fandom and I use "Deanismyhero" as my user name in several SPN forums. This icon also came from a cap I made from my DVD recording of BUABS.
The hug!!!! The hug!!!! We finally got our hug!!! Had to make this b&w because it was made from a screencap from my DVD recording of the episode and the reception was so-so. But it works well without the color. It's very touching seeing Dean clutching to his little brother and so glad to see him alive.
Jensen as Alec playing Monty Cora in Fuhgeddaboudit. Alec never tried to hide his barcode until the last few episodes of the season. I kept wondering why nobody ever caught on. Maybe they just thought it was an imaginative tattoo? Oh, well, still sexy all the same!
This is actually a photo I took while on vacation back in 1994. It's of a tree in Oregon Pipe National Park down in Arizona. This particular tree was the only tree standing at this small pond which was the home of a rare fish that only exists there. It's one of my favorite photos.
I'm kind of obsessed with Jensen's gorgeous, muscular arms, so an icon of his bulging bicep was a natural choice. This is from a promo photo for Skin. Some guys bulk up too much, but I think Jensen is just...*sigh*...perfect!

Of all my icons, this one has gotten the most attention, especially when I first started using it. Many people wanted to know where I got the image from. At the time I made the icon, this promo image for S1's finale was very rare indeed. I'd only managed to find it on one website. It wasn't easy to find at all. I got to directing people to the image and now you can find it on several other sites. Haven't seen too many people use it for icons though. It's still a favorite of mine.
When this behind-the-scenes image of Jensen was released it quickly became one of my all-time favorite photos of him. The black t-shirt, the muscular arms, the relaxed pose, and his striking profile all make for a winning combination!
After making my "The Eyes Have It" picspam not too long ago, I was inspired to make this icon from one of my favorite screencaps. His eyes just glow in this cap from Simon Said! Btw, it took me forever to find the right font that would work. Originally I wanted it to say "Angel Eyes", but I couldn't get it to fit. This is currently my new favorite icon.
