Status Report - Picspam Problems

raloriaOkay, I got some much needed sleep, mom's doing better and life's slowly getting back to normal...except my picspam schedule is falling apart.
I totally failed to get the DA picspam posted so it's been postponed until next week. Planned on posting this week's Thursday SPN picspam (for WIAWSNB), but ran into problems there, too. I had used my new discovery, the GOM Player to make the caps. In making the caps yesterday, I found myself making far more than I normally do. BIG MISTAKE! I got half way through the episode and had over 1,200 caps!!!! I began to sort through them and realized I had practically capped every frame! *headdesk* Sorting became a nightmare. Meanwhile, the hours were ticking by and I had no caps fixed yet. Thought I could still make it after fixing all 1,000 or so caps and selcting all the ones I wanted to include in the picspam. No way is that gonna happen.
The problem is, I love this episode so much and there's so many great images. Yet I'm also thinking that in a few months I'm gonna have the DVD to get these caps from. So why put so much work into these caps from an AVI file now? *facepalm* *starts pulling out hair* It's a struggle I go through with every one of these S2 episodes.
I don't want to mess with my episode list schedule, so I'm thinking of making next week's SPN picspams of just this one episode. I'm thinking of splitting it up, with my fave Dean caps on Tuesday and my fave Sam caps on Thursday. Just hope I can keep the cap numbers down. We'll see what happens over the weekend and if I can get the caps uploaded to Photobucket over the weekend.
Anyway, just to give you a little taste and to give us all something nice to look at for over the weekend, I thought I'd post a few special, random caps from the episode. These are large thumbnails, so just click on them.
Feel free to take them if you want, all I ask is for credit. They're not as big as the caps I'll be posting later on, but they're not bad.
I know you're all going to tell me to take as much time as I need, that you'll wait. I truly appreciate your patience with me. *hugs flist* As you've seen (from my Anatomy Of A Picspam post), these picspams take a lot of work and time. I try my best to make them the best that I can and sometimes that means delaying them a little. Hopefully, things will go better next week and I'll get things back on schedule.
