My Friending/De-Friending Policies

This is to clear up some confusion I feel has come up about who I add or cut and why. There's been some defriendings that I've had to clear up in the recent past. I hope this explains everything.


I have a semi-large Flist. Do I keep up with everyone? No. I do the best I can.
I post a lot. I do not expect everyone to keep up with my level of posting.

A lot of people Friend me for my goodies and that's totally cool with me.
Others friend me for other reasons and that's equally cool. :)

Every now and then, I go through the list people who've added me and I see who I want to Friend back. I mostly go with my gut on this, but there is a short list of things I look for...

Reasons I will Friend People:
* We have things in common, namely SPN, Jensen Ackles, other TV shows.
* Frequent posts.
* I get a good vibe from reading the person's entries. This is where my gut comes in and tells me if we might be a good match. ;)


There are things that will keep me from adding people back outside of not meeting the list above.

Reasons I won't Friend People:
* The LJ has no entries. There are rare exceptions to this rule, however.
* The LJ is in a foreign language.
* The LJ is nothing but entries of fanfic, music vids, or what song the person is listening to at any given time. No offense, but I like a little variety in the entries on my Flist.
* We have nothing in common.
* Infrequent posting.


I very rarely defriend people. I think since I've come to LJ I've only done a handful of cuts.

Reasons I De-Friend People:
* The person cuts me first and we can't resolve whatever their reasons were for the cut.
* The LJ has been abandoned.
* No posts in over 6 months to 1 year.
* We no longer have common interests.
* You've been spreading wank.
* You've wronged me in some form.


So don't feel you should de-friend me because you think you aren't posting enough or aren't commenting enough on my LJ.

I do not keep track of how often people comment on my LJ. Period.
If you comment a lot - awesome! If you don't...whenever you get a chance is fine with me. :)
