I know I'm going to sound like a broken record here, but they've done another awesome job. It's another emotional episode that ends in a heartbreaking scene between the two brothers. I seriously think we all need a group hug after this episode.

- Just a quickie recap this week, without music. It does get to the point, though.

- Yet another reason to not use your cell phone while driving especially when crying.

- So now we know that Mary's body didn't survive the fire. And we find out the guys have an uncle, but they've never met him.

- It's sad how Dean doesn't want to even be near his mother's grave. And after much speculation about them taking John's ring to Mary's grave, it's acually his dogtags that Sam places in the grass. Beautiful scene with Jared, btw.

- Love the brief shot of Dean looking at the headstone that said "Loving Father". And how he walks away, trying not to let the emotions take over again.

- Can I just say Jensen looks great in that V-neck t-shirt. A little extra skin...yum. And there's that new bracelet. No explanation on where it came from either. I like it though.

- Dean to Sam: "Well don't get too excited, you might pull something." Dean's on a case already and Sam's a bit suspicious about his motives.

- When they speak to Angela's dad, I love how Sam's facial expressions change once he realizes what Dean is up to.

- "Look, maybe you're imagining a hunt where there isn't one so you don't have to think about mom...or dad." That look Dean gives to Sam after that statement...I just knew he wanted to hit Sam again. Sam knew it too. Such a sad scene between the two of them. Their eyes just expressing all that pain. Kudos to Jared & Jensen for playing the emotion here so perfectly. Especially Sam's quiet (almost whispered) "where are you going?". Dean just keeps running away and it's tearing Sam apart because he just wants to help him.

- The scene with Lindsey & Dean was kind of funny. She's all weepy and he's just trying to get information. Love the part where he hands her a tissue, he's so uncomfortable around all this emotional stuff.

- OMG! Sam watches porn! Dean enters and...."awkward"...yeah...you could say that!

- What's with the bug flying thought the scene where they talk to Neil??? Maybe they were short on time that day, but you would think they would've re-shot that scene.

- Sam: "Burn the bones? Are you high?" Love the face Dean makes at that!

- Okay, how did those symbols end up in that coffin and who put them there?

- The next scene with Dean interrogating Angela's dad is very well done. Dean's anger "What's dead should stay dead!" and poor Sam trying get some control over the situation. The first impression here is that Dean is venting his anger about their dad's death. How he would give anything to see the people he lost. And what makes this scene even more important is by the end of the episode, we realize that Dean wasn't thinking about his dad at all, but himself.

- Sam finally admits that Dean's behavior is scaring him. Dean as usual, plays it down "I can take care of myself. Thanks.". This scene is excellent as they both open up a bit to each other. Sam's afraid of losing Dean after losing eveyone else he ever cared about and Dean finally admits that he's been an ass. Love Dean's expression as Sam mentions losing their dad and mom. Such intense emotion! Jensen just continues to impress, scene by scene.

- Sam gets to be the bait this time. How funny is it that this big, tall guy gets tackled by a girl! And then we find out she broke his hand. No wonder Dean says he's too fragile!

- Love Dean's slide into the grave too!

- It's nice how Dean has that one final look back at Mary's grave. I sort of wanted something more from him here, but I guess he's not ready for that yet. But that could also be because he feels no attachment to just a grave marker. Maybe his reasoning is that Mary's gone and there isn't even a body to mourn over, so what's the point?

- The final scene may very well be one of their best ever. Dean finally opens up about how he feels about their dad's death. He apologizes to Sam for how he's been acting. He blames himself for their dad's death and points out that John must have died to bring him back to life. It's heartbreaking to see Dean falling apart, especially when he says he never should have come back. "I should have stayed dead." We got a taste of this in Faith. Dean was upset, knowing that a man had died in his place. He then tried to sacrifice himself in order to save Layla, believing that she deserved life more than he did. Now he believes he's cheated death yet again and the sacrifice was their dad. This is something Dean cannot accept. It's what has been eating away at him, making him careless, angry, and violent. So Sam learns what his brother's been feeling at last. The walls have come down for this one moment and Dean's pain is revealed. "So tell me..what could you possibly say to make that alright." Such emotion...and I really wanted a brotherly hug at the end of this scene. I was going "hug, just hug him Sam!". If ever one was needed it was at this moment. *Sigh* Hopefully in the near future. Jensen...what can you say after a superb job of acting like that. Amazing - again! His emotions were so raw...it was so sad to see Dean like that. And great job by Jared too with Sam not knowing what to say or how to ease his brother's pain.

A few favorite lines:
- "Awkward"
- "It's got unrequited duckie love written all over it."
- "It's your grief counselors. We've come to hug."
- "Damn that dead chick can run."
- "When someone's gone, they should stay gone."
- "What's dead should stay dead."
