Thought I'd try a new series of posts, this time recapping the TV shows I've watched each week.

I actually got caught up on everything over the past 2 weeks on Friday. Yay!!!! :D

If you want to read my past posts about these shows, check out my This Week In TV tag.

The Amazing Race:
Lance & Keri. Aaarrrggghhh! Such an annoying couple. They were screeching at each other most of this leg...well, it mostly him yelling at her. What a jerk. I wish they'd gotten eliminated, but sadly it was Marcy & Ronald who made the poor choice of doing the traffic option of the Detour. Bad move guys. When you can't speak the language, why go with the option where you have to decipher a word? Still liking the Globetrotter guys, who are cool and nice. I hope they go far in this race.

Dancing With The Stars:
Didn't get to watch because I wasn't home last Monday night, but where some very good dances. Sad to see Tom Delay go because of his injury, but it's kind of like that old horseracing quote: "No hoof, no horse". Kinda hard to dance with two hurt feet. Debi Mazar got the boot as well, which is kinda sad. She had potential despite her awkward dance on Monday. I was kind of wishing Michael would get kicked off. He's really not progressing.

Castle:
Another excellent episode that revolved around the murder of a fashion model. I enjoyed all the twists and turns, wondering who was the suspect - the photographer? the fashion designer? - all up to the cool twist at the end, with the victim's husband killing her in a fit of mistaken jealousy. So sad. You had to feel for the guy. He thought for sure she was cheating on him, when all she wanted to do was quit and go home. Nice little sub-plot with Castle meeting up with a model who takes a fancy to him, only to find out she was once Alex's babysitter.

Lie To Me:
A good episode, not as enjoyable as the premiere, but good all the same. Zoe has Cal investigate the rape charges against a college football player, with a nice twist of the supposed victim actually being the perpetrator. Meanwhile, Foster and Locker look into a religious cult for tax evasion and end up helping one mother and her kids escape.

The Forgotten:
This is more like it. After the previous week's lackluster storyline, this one about the murder of a former pro football player worked very well.

Eastwick:
Really enjoying this series. It's a breath of fresh air with all the heavy dramas. Not to say this series doesn't have drama...Roxie was haunted by the ghost of her daughter's former boyfriend/attacker. Kat & Raymond re-ignited their marriage with a late-night pool plunge, only to have him take off with the kids by episode's end. And Joanna gets a big scoop on a scandal involving the town's pastor, which unknowingly gives more power to Daryl Van Horne.

Flash Forward:
A good episode. Not sure I like getting involved in yet another big series with a long-running plot, but oh, well. It's still engaging, so I'll stick with it. Finally figured out where I recognized Courtney B. Vance - he was Jonsey in "The Hunt For Red October"! What? It's been bugging me. The pieces keep coming together on Mark's board, including the picture of a Nazi who he goes to see for answers. But does he really get anything out of the deal that's made? Hmmm.... Okay, so maybe the phone call Demetri got was for this week instead of last week. I'm getting confused with 2 weeks of episodes to catch up on. *sigh* I'll do better this week.

Survivor:
Interesting reward challenge with some chickens as the prize and no Jeff in sight. Galu won again....what a shocker. Erik found the hidden immunity idol at Galu camp and re-hid it (smart move). In the Immunity Challenge Foa Foa finally won thanks to a slow Monica on Galu. Russel wanted her out, but most of the tribe voted out Yasmine, who while strong at challenges has been doing nothing around camp. I'm actually glad to see her gone. Bit of a loudmouth really and what a slacker at camp. I don't care if she was good at the challenges. Doesn't mean she can sit around at camp all the time while everyone else does all the work.

Fringe:
Amazing eppy with Olivia finally remembering her visit with William Bell. As suspected, there's a battle going on for control. Their side verses ours. Olivia is the guardian and has to keep the shapeshifters from the other side from finding the cryogenically frozen head of their leader who will be able to open the gate between the worlds. Meanwhile, Walter & Peter track down the gal from some of Walter's past experiments who has the ability to see an aura around the shapeshifters. "Not Charlie" is not faring well, and ends up trying to cover his tracks while tracking down Olivia in an alley and getting her to spill the location of the cryogenic plant where the head is. She kills him, but not before he can pass on the word. At least he's no longer a threat. Eeek.

Supernatural:
I have my First Impressions up already, but I loved this eppy (naturally). So happy to see my boys back on the road together. It's a rough start, but in the end, they head out on the road with a renewed purpose and understanding of this being a team effort. Paris Hilton did a good job. Sure, a couple of the line readings were a little clunky, but she did alright IMO. Loved the humor and lighter touch of this eppy. It's nice to get back to a basic MOTW once in a while.

The Vampire Diaries:
Really enjoyed this episode. Lots going on....Bonnie's powers are starting to take control more, Damon lures Caroline to release him and he kills Zach in the process. Stefan finally opens up more to Elena, but she gets more curious and sees him in some old TV news footage from the 1950s. Putting everything together, she now realizes that he's a vampire. Ooooh...
