Thought I'd try a new series of posts, this time recapping the TV shows I've watched each week.

If you want to read my past posts about these shows, check out my This Week In TV tag.

The Amazing Race:
The teams head off to Cambodia, all on the same plane. They track down a hotel suite named after Jackie Kennedy (who some of them sadly couldn't even identify from a photo) and then most teams did the scarf hunt in the Russian Market. Naturally, Lance & Keri did the opposite task, but sadly they were successful and moved on. The monkey roadblock was fun to watch, except for poor Zev who almost passed out. He and Justin arrive at the pit stop first, but they lost Zev's passport along the way, which ultimately gets them eliminated. I feel bad for them, but why would you put something as vitally important as your passport in a place where it could easily fall out? I'd have that sucker packed securely. Lance keeps getting more and more freaky and frightening (he was even scaring Phil with that crazy kick!), so we still have to put up with him and Keri. Bah.

Dancing With The Stars:
What an incredible night of dancing! We get 4 new dances: the Two-Step, Bolero, Charleston, and the Lambada. Best moment of the night? Joanna & Derek dancing the Lambada with Derek shirtless! *guh* More shirtless guys on this show? Bring it on! The dance was super hot, too! Very well done. I liked Melissa & Mark's Charleston, along with Donny & Kym's and Kelly & Louis's. Really the Charleston came out the clear winner for everyone. Another great dance was Mya & Demitry's Lambada, which was smokin' hot....oiled up bodies and all. The weakest dances were the Texas Two-Step, especially Chuck's and Louie's. Michael & Anna didn't do much better with their Bolero. Chuck at least did some steps during his dance. Can't say the same for Louie, who did little more than walk around while Chelsey did all the dancing.

Glad to see Chuck go. The guy tried, but he's not up to the standards of everyone else. I'm still thinking Michael might be the next to go.

Castle:
Fun episode! Castle, along with Eastwick feels like my guilty pleasures each week. They're so much fun to watch! Loved all the clever banter between Beckett & Castle. Nice to see him jealous for a change, thinking she's going off on a date, when all she's really doing is soaking in a tub while reading his book. Hee! Honestly, I'm so wrapped up in watching the two of them interact that I almost forgot what case they were working on. Love how she kept conning him throughout the eppy while telling him she doesn't like movies about con jobs. But in the end he finds her out, even popping up in the ladies room when she goes in there to read the delicious love scene in the book. Heehee!

Lie To Me:
Cool episode with Cal and Emily going on a vacation in Mexico. Of course, he can't quit working (even spying on everyone back at the foundation) and gets pulled into a missing persons case, bringing Torres down to help out. Loved the bit with them playing a couple. LOL Back at home, an old adversary comes in to help out as Foster and Locker investigate deaths linked to tainted blood. Fun episode. It was nice to see Cal away from his home turf, but still capable of multi-tasking like nobody else. The bit with him turning on the water sprinklers was awesome. I totally LOL. :D

The Forgotten:
An interesting episode about a "parachute kid"'s murder. Is this a real life term? I'd never even heard of it before. I'm still liking this show, but it hasn't totally grabbed me yet.

Eastwick:
Another enjoyable eppy. Roxie is still getting mixed signals from neighbor guy, but then realizes that he's Bun's son. Kat and Raymond get into nasty divorce proceedings only to decide to deal with it themselves in a much more amicable way. And Joanna runs into her old ex-fiancee, sleeps with him only to find out what he really thinks of her, and ends up blowing off poor Will in the process. Loved the little twist at the end with Penny at the end. Oooh!

Flash Forward:
I wanna like this show, I really do, but I see it heading down that Lost path. I'm still getting a little confused with all the characters. Let's see....Demetri & Mark end up coming to blows and Demetri finally tells him about his impending murder. Olivia won't listen to Bryce's diagnosis about a patient and almost kills him and Lloyd was involved with the blackout????? Those are the highlights anyway. Loved the cool guest star at the very end.

Survivor:
Russell of Foa Foa strikes again. Ah, it's the eat disgusting things reward challenge. Gross! Galu wins. Surprise, surprise, when Ashley can't finish her sea slug guts & water smoothy. Russell of Galu sends Shambo over to Foa Foa and she is not happy about it. I really don't know why she wouldn't want to go over there. She's already said she feels more connected to those people than to her own tribe. Liz is suspicious of Russel at Foa Foa, so of course she's next on his chopping block. However, when they again lose the immunity challenge, the tribe gets stuck together in their shelter during a torrential rain and Russel can't work his plan. But in the end it still kind of works out when Ashley gets the boot.

Fringe:
The team head off to Seattle *squee* to investigate a man who attacked his boss due to his dreams. I like how the episode dealt with Olivia's grief over Charlie, with Sam giving her an unusual task to perform that would reveal in important message. The humor was nice, too, with that poor agent Casher having to deal with Walter and then ending up being his guinea pig! I do wish they'd reveal more about what's going on with Peter, 'cause it's sure getting interesting.

Supernatural:
My big review is in my First Impressions post. I liked the eppy, but it really didn't massively impress me like the other episodes this season. It felt like a quieter episode. The humor worked and it was fun to see the boys being brothers again, but the ending was sad, with poor Jesse being overwhelmed at his powers and running off to Australia. Cas seemed pretty heartless this time around, but I also noticed how he never referred to Jesse as a kid or a boy. He always called him "it" or the "thing".

The Vampire Diaries:
Elena learns a lot from Stefan about his past and the real truth about vampires. Very cool scenes of him from the past and the first meeting with Katherine. Loved the twist of her being the vampire who turned him! Whoah! Damon turns Vicki into a vampire and in the end Elena breaks up with Stefan. Really getting into this show now. :)
