In Part Three: Alec's identified in the police line up for murder, which brings Max to look into the matter. There's a perfect DNA match and she's already angry at him for not showing up to help Logan, so Max is set to leave him there for White. Then she realizes it was Ben who committed the murder and not Alec and the two of them make a daring escape.

Part 3 -

I really like this first cap of Alec in the line up. And of course, he thinks he's done. He's got somewhere to be afterall.

Some killer profile shots here. The first one especially as he pulls away from the cop.

With the 3rd cap: I don't know what it is about this hallway, but it looks like it has a really low ceiling. I don't know whether this was intentional to give it a cramped feeling or what. I always thought it looked a little strange.

This first cap is great! In cuffs again! But I've gotta say, if he's up for murder charges, why did they cuff his hands in front? Seems like a serious offense like that would make him very dangerous and they'd want to cuff him in the back. Just an observation....Oh, and I'd like to point out the great lighting in this scene.

Max, of course, is angry about him being an "unreliable jerk" and not showing up at the hospital. She doesn't even give him a chance to explain. And Max being Max, she accepts the perfect DNA match and believes he committed the murder. She's all set to leave him for White to deal with. Alec: "You really think I could do it? You think I could murder someone in cold blood?" Max: "Yes, Alec, I think you could."

Then he mentions the victim's teeth were pulled, making Max think back to Ben.

The nice little flashback shot of Ben really highlights Jensen's freckles! Alec: "You know, no matter what you think, there's no way it could have been me. That guy was killed over a year ago. I was at Manticore."

I guess it's just the extreme low angle that makes the ceiling look so low. 'Course him walking the way he does here (all crouched down), just adds to the effect. Alec: "Max, I'm not complaining, but what made you think I didn't do it?" Max: "Shh." Alec: "I'm just curious."

"Was it the sincerity in my eyes? Some people say I have sincere eyes." Max: "Quiet." Heehee! He's so adorable. He thinks he just totally charmed her into believing he was innocent.

And he just keeps babbling on as they make their escape..."It was the teeth thing, wasn't it? I mean, come on, I can hardly stand going to the dentist." Max: "Shut up, okay?" Alec: "Why are you taking this so personally?" Max: "Because it was Ben." Alec: "Ben, my Manticore twin Ben?" Love the determined look on his face in the second cap, btw.

Alec: "Max, tell me you got a plan." Oh, she's got a plan alright. It's just not one Alec's too enthused about.

Alec: "This is your plan?" Heehee! So they jump down onto a car and roll over the hood for cover. Btw, you can totally tell it was their stunt doubles doing the roll. There's not much cover provided by the car from the hail of bullets coming from the cops. Alec: "I should have stayed where I was and taken my chances." Love that line!
