The 30 Days of December Meme
Dec. 3rd, 2009 02:38 amOkay, so I missed Day 2. We'll pick that up now. Pbbbbbbbt. :P
Day Two: Your Favorite Movie
Again...they must be joking. How can I possibly pick one? Impossible. At least impossible to name one favorite. I have hundreds, thousands of favorite movies. So I'll grab a few randomly here....
Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison (1957) Deborah, Kerr, Robert Mitchum
A Marine and a Nun, both shipwrecked on a Pacific Island, find solace in one another as the two wait out the war.
Blood And Sand (1941) Tyrone Power, Linda Darnell
Illiterate peasant Juan Gallardo rises meteorically to fame and fortune in the bullfight arena only to sow the seeds of his own fall.
Ocean's 11 (2001) George Clooney, Brad Pitt
Danny Ocean and his ten accomplices plan to rob three Las Vegas casinos simultaneously.
Singin' In The Rain (1952) Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor
A silent film production company and cast make a difficult transition to sound.
The Great Race (1965) Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis
Comedy about an early 20th century car race across three continents.
There are so many others I could have put here, but these are a few that popped into my head. I highly recommend all of these if you haven't seen them already. Btw, in my family "The Great Race" is a much beloved film and we quote it constantly! You must watch this film!
