In Part Five: Max tells Alec about how Ben died by her hand and she had to leave him in the woods for Lydecker to find. Alec leaves her apartment in the morning with a better understanding of her attitude towards him. He then goes to stay at Joshua's place where he finds out about Josh's new friend, Annie.

Max tells of how she was in the woods with Ben and he was hurt. Manticore was closing in on them and he didn't want to go back. Alec: "Reindoctrination. Or worse."
More lovely CU shots of Jensen...*sigh* Max: "I killed him. He asked me to. So, I did. And then I ran. I saved myself."
"And I just left his body there for them to take away." It's nice that they finally have this moment, some reconciliation.
It's so sweet when he kisses her head. *melts*
Alec: "Max I'm sorry." *sniffle* Pass the kleenex please.
I've always thought the sound was sort of off for this scene, like they ADR'd it, but not very well. And I hate to say it, but Jensen's voice seems especially off here. Or maybe it's just me.

I've always wondered if that guy was supposed to walk behind them, or if that was a mistake that they just left in. I find him kind of distracting, because they seem all alone here. Well, except for Logan lurking a little ways away, spying on them. *snicker*
I didn't over-cap, did I? Nah! The should-be-patented Jensen crooked smile!
That's one way to get up close and personal with your co-star. Heh. And then she has the gal to push him away! I wouldn't have. :)
Logan's POV. At least she does tell him to be careful. That's gotta be a first.
A couple of gratuitous butt shots...nice angle! Alec's all "Hey, hey, roomie".
Alec: "It turns out my dead twin brother was a psycho killer. Go figure."
Alec can room with me anytime. Heh. Did I say that out loud? :)
Look! He does the hand rubbing thing Jensen always does. *squeeeee* Alec wants some TV.
Josh offers books instead. Josh: "You can read?" Alec: (chuckles) "What are we living in the Dark Ages? Come on, pal. I need my boob tube, you know?"
"The hot medium. The vast wasteland."
Josh is clueless, but our resourceful boy Alec knows where he can get one.
Alec then spies Joshua's painting of Annie, his new friend.
