SPN 5x11: Status Report

raloriaWas hoping to have my First Impressions review of 5x11 up by now, but technology was not kind to me Sunday. :(
As I feared, my HD download didn't appear, so I eventually gave up and went with my back-up plan, only to have internet issues. After 2 broken connections I finally got the whole file downloaded on the third try. I've made my caps, but I need to do a final sort.
I turned on my PC only to discover it was infected with some kind of virus/spyware/trojan. Not sure which really. I did all my scans, the biggest one by Avast! which took several hours and I was eventually able to delete the folder with the offending beast. This further delayed things.
I've taken my review notes, but I still need to select my 2 caps for the fanart to go with the review post. I'm aiming for later tonight (Monday) to have the First Impressions done.
That leaves sorting the larger caps, renaming them, pulling caps for fanart, making the B&W Fanart & icons, and having those posted by Wednesday or Thursday. Phew! The larger caps, since they're not from the HQ download as I was hoping for, aren't as good as my usual ones, but for now they're all I've got. I'll continue to keep my eye out for the better download.
