In Part Two: Alec and Max use a laser to remove their barcodes, Logan and Alec team up to help Max find Joshua in the sewers, and Alec and Max try to calm a distraught Joshua as they hear of Annie's murder.

Part 2 -

Max and Alec decide to hide their barcodes with some laser surgery. Alec: "This is gonna hurt, isn't it?" Max: "Lasers tend to, yeah." Alec complains their barodes will just reappear and Max says then they'll do it again. Max: "Don't be such a sissy." LOL Check out the photos Alec's looking at. Heh.

Not to be nitpicky, but I think there's a mess up in wardrobe continuity here. At Jam Pony, he was wearing a hoodie under the denim jacket. Now he's wearing this sweater/jacket thingie. Which I love, btw.

Poor Alec. That does look painful. Not that you'd be able to tell from when Max is on the table. She doesn't have any reaction at all. Don't know if that was supposed to make her look tougher than Alec or what.

Hand!Porn! Logan's been trying to get a hold of Max, calling her pager. Alec: "Oh, guess who? You know, this is the second time he's paged you in, like, ten minutes. Don't you think you ought to call the guy back already?"

Max, being just a tad bitchy in this ep, btw, tells him to mind his own business and hurry up. Then Logan calls Alec's cell.

Alec decides enough is enough and tells Logan she's there, forcing Max to take the call.

Cute smile as he hands her the phone. *melts* She's none too happy about it either, and gives Alec a forceful shove when she takes his phone.

...Sorry, but I'm drooling over these first two caps. The second one made my lovely icon for this week. Alec finds Logan observing the hunt for Joshua and Annie that's taking place.

I kinda miss seeing his hair, but oh well. Lots of tension coming from Logan, but then he thinks Alec and Max are together. And poor Alec doesn't have a clue.

Alec calls Max, who's already down in the sewers looking for Joshua.

*Guh* These closeups....especially the last one where he's smiling. *thud*

The lighting is really great on him in the closeup shots. Beautiful.

Logan uses his laptop to help direct Max to where the police haven't looked yet. The second and third caps somehow remind me of a photo of Jared. *ponders* Anyway, come nightfall, they're still there and wondering how Max is doing.

Alec pulls out the phone's antenna with his teeth!

Alec, listening to Logan's conversation with Max, who's found Joshua.

He checks out the screen as Logan tells him where's he's leading the two of them to escape. Logan: "Got to figure there'll be soldiers posted on the street."

Alec: "Mm. Not for long." Heh. My Lord, but the man's got a sexy neck! *flails*

Look how cool he is leaning against that car. Alec: "Do you have any idea how little the cops in this burg get paid? It's pathetic." Arriving back at Joshua's place, Alec's ready to eat again. Alec: "Well, that was fun. What say we order a pizza, huh?" He doesn't get any takers. Heh.

So now the TV's back in the living room, or maybe they have 2 TVs. Alec's mighty resourceful, so who knows? They're watching the news and find out Annie's been killed, with the media blaming her abductor (in other words, Joshua).

Alec and Max watch Joshua's enraged reaction. I like the last cap here...

Alec and Max hold and console a devasted Joshua. It's like a family portrait in a way - how they're clinging to each other. The public is aware of them more than ever now and soon no place will be safe.
