After I got back home from my walk, I grabbed my camera and went into the front & back yards and snapped some pics of the early spring color. Hope you enjoy these, especially if you're still up to your knees in snow or in a chilly part of the world.

Our tree out front with the bright, blue sky behind the opening blossoms. This is one of my favorites.

Another shot of the opening buds. I'm using my 70-300mm zoom lens with all of these, btw. 'Cause these are at the very top of the tree.

I love how this one came out. So pretty!!!

In a few days all these blossoms will be open.

An experimental shot of the late sun on the main branches of the tree.

A tangle of branches and blossoms.

Some nice backlit blossoms.

Another nice close-up.

This is simply a little weed growing on top of our old shed out in the back yard. I purposely took it this way so I could use it later w/text on the right. I love how delicate it looks.

Some late berries.

A jet I caught flying overhead. I'm surprised this even came out considering it was almost right over me and I was zoomed in so tight. I also cropped this shot, so you're seeing it even better than it originally was.

A beautiful shot of the half moon. This one was also heavily cropped and though it's not as sharp as the jet, I tweaked it in Picnik and it's not too bad.

Look what Picnik did when selected Auto-Fix! Turned it into a night shot! Cool! :D
