Officially I'm a little late with this, but I figure it's still March 1st somewhere in the world, right? Hawaii, I think (okay, well at least it was when I started typing out this post). Hee! Which means....it's still Jensen's birthday. Ha! *g*

For those of you keeping track, this is actually my Plan B. I've been working on Plan A for days now, but hours ago I realized it wasn't going to happen in time, so I switched tactics. Now I wish I'd changed a little sooner. *le sigh* Plan A will still be posted, but in a few days. In the meantime, I've put together this picspam to celebrate our golden boy's 32nd birthday! Enjoy! :D

This is not going to be a typical picspam. Since all of these caps are from SPN, I'm looking at Jensen and appreciating him through the character of Dean Winchester. Moreover, what does Jensen bring to Dean? What attributes does Jensen have that make Dean what he is and a character that we all love so much?

Dean was once equated with "staring into the sun" and the same can be said of Jensen Ackles. In fact, anyone who's met him in person often agrees with this statement. I, myself felt this phenomena at last year's VanCon. *g* He is simply...stunningly handsome. Of course, we won't only be looking at his physical gifts, but his talents and his personality. The main question we're answering is this...

Why is Jensen like staring into the sun?

Because he is utterly charming...

and adorable.

Because his incredible face can express so many subtle emotions.

It can be deadly intense...

or morph into the funniest of faces.

But Jensen can also bring out Dean's deepest emotions & sadness. I like to call these his "dead eyes".

He can also express the rawest of emotions, allowing Dean's protective walls to finally crumble.
When he cries you just want to hold on and cry with him.

He's even been known to make the crew and his fellow cast members tear up.

Because he can show Dean not only physically broken and bloody, but emotionally broken as well.

Because even when he's playing "sick", Jensen's handsome features shine through.

Because he can express pain so well onscreen.
Jensen makes you "feel" everything his character is going through...down to his bones.

On the other side of the spectrum, his smile can light up a room.

Because his eyes are so beautifully green and expressive!

Because he handles handguns and shotguns like he's been doing it his whole life.
Somehow this is incredibly impressive and sexy at the same time.

Because his voice is so distinctive and sexy. Jensen's subtle voice inflections can tell you exactly how Dean is feeling.
But he sounds equally beautiful reading Latin or singing.
