I knew things were too quiet around here.

Thanks to a link by Super Wiki on Twitter to http://www.supernaturalnet.net/ I found out the site has a gallery full of uncredited images and fanart. There's everything there from icons to wallpapers and other fanart pieces. Numerous convention photos are there as well, including a few of my own (as you'll see evidence of behind the cut).

Unless the person who made the fanart put their name on the image itself, no credit has been given and only the person who uploaded it to the site is mentioned. As you'll see in the main gallery, it makes it look as if that person is the creator of the pieces.

I could join the site to express my displeasure at them for posting my pics without credit, but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble. I'm pissed, but how can I really stop all the thieves? I was notified by someone several months ago that a person on another site had posted my Impala icon as her own. I joined and have gotten no response so far. I'd really rather not join another site. Letting others know about this issue is about my only option. I have no idea whose works are there, but there's a lot of it. Best to look for yourselves if you're concerned.

I recognized this photo right away as being one of my pics from VanCon last year. Nice how it's so small (even when you click to make it larger on the site, it's this size) that you can't make out my watermark in the lower right corner. "Gift from a friend of Facebook"? Um, no...I don't think so.
Here's another, which I guess was used in some kind of music vid. I don't mind that, but if you're going to post a screencap of the vid (which looks pretty crappy btw), at least credit me for taking the photo.
Here you can see what the gallery page looks like, with my two images of Jensen from VanCon. Notice how they all say "by Sara Mohammed" underneath like she's the one who created them. The entire gallery is like this, with only the person who uploaded being given "credit".
This is at the bottom of their site. Get this statement: "This is a respectful Fandom and we encourage you to quote the sources of all the material you hunt, gather and share with us." Huh? Where's my credit, people??? Where is anybody's credit?
