Comments - Status & Thank You!

raloriaSpent a little time looking thru the oldest emails of everyone's comments in my Yahoo Mail and deleting them. In fact, I crashed the FireFox browser once (Ooops!) and deleted nearly 400 messages in all! \0/
I had a flocked post from last night outlining my plan with the comments, but here it is for everyone.
Now to the comment situation. *sigh* I've come to the conclusion that there's no way I'm going to be able to reply to the 3,000 plus comments that are in my inbox. It's impossible...and regrettable. I wish I could wave a magic wand and have them all replied to in 10 seconds, but that's not going to happen. So here's the deal...I'm going to let them go and take care of the most recent ones, possibly going back a month, but no later. I'll do better from here on out. If I'd only been able to get caught up before VanCon last year it wouldn't have gotten so far out of hand. Nothing I can do about that now except move on. If I do go back and look through the old comments and emails I'll only be answering a few, mainly the ones that have a question that need answering. I feel like I owe everyone a huge apology. Sorry! :( I'll try my best to keep on top of the comments from now on!
So that's the plan and the process has begun. Must admit, it feels good to see less than 3,000 messages in my inbox again. :)
I read all the comments again, btw, before I deleted them.

Some of the old comments were for my time at VanCon last year and reading and seeing the pics really has sparked the urge to type out my reports about the con at long last. So embarrassing that it's gone 7 months! *facepalms* I'm going to make a start tonight and see what happens. Even a start would be something. I hope I remember enough. Wish me luck! :D
