Just another rambling post...you know how those are. ;)
A little pretty now, because we all need some Jensen, don't we?

* What the heck happened to summer? I actually had to wear a sweatshirt for a little while today because it was so cold in the house. It was very gray and wet in western WA today, looking and feeling more like fall than summer.
* I keep having people add me to their friends list. Not that I'm complaining, I'm just wondering why. I suppose it's to keep track of my picspams, but I'm not sure, since many of them don't seem to comment on here much. I might just have to have a separate post about this to try and find out. *makes note to self to remember to do this later*
* I still need to catch up on my replies (which I haven't even worked on yet *hangs head in embarrassment*). Plus, I'm trying to catch up on my Flist from being away from the computer for two days. Oh, and I'm planning on adding some more links to the sidebar for some of my more popular picspams and other posts, just so they're easier for you to find and for me to direct people to when they ask me about them.
* Latest movies/DVDs watched:
-- Words And Music
-- That's Dancing
-- Bathing Beauty
* I seriously think our old TV is on it's last legs. When you turn it on it takes about 2 minutes for a picture to appear on the screen! Not a good sign. The picture's been blurry around the edges of the screen for some time now, but that little hole of sharpness is getting smaller and smaller. We've been looking around at all the shiny new TVs (HD...whoohoo!), but one of our biggest problems is getting the old TV out of here. The thing weighs 94 lbs. (I looked it up). The new LCD TVs weigh around 30-40 lbs. Quite a difference. I just hope the old TV doesn't quit before we get a new one or after the new season of SPN starts. Yikes!
* Bought myself my second new digital camera this year. I had to return the first one I bought back in June when I had a problem with the camera freezing up and not retracting the lens. I hope I'll have better luck this time. It's the same brand (Kodak), but less megapixels (8 instead of 10).
Here's some photos I took today with the new camera...just some views around my room:
This is the view out my bedroom window. The big building behind the fence is our backyard neighbor's pool house. I think hunky pool-house-roof-guy is practically finished with the new roof, but I'm still hoping to see him up there again one more time. *g*

This is a tree rose that's in a pot below my window.

The 3 Star Wars posters that are on one of my walls.

This is my little SPN magnetic/dry-erase boards that I have mounted to my door.

I'm sure I've left something out here. Why is it you can think of all sorts of things to mention in a post and then when you start to type it out, your mind goes blank? Or maybe that's just me....
