Walking: Good day, sunshine!
May. 31st, 2010 06:43 pmMy plan was to walk twice today, but this morning it was raining (sometimes very heavily) and I simply wasn't feeling like going out there. But this afternoon as been beautiful. The sun is out, the temps have gone up (up to 64 anyway), though there is a stiff breeze. So out I went. Took the big loop in our neighborhood (no hill), then zigzagged through the medium and big loop to where I did come up the hill. Oooph! It wasn't an easy walk. My left leg was protesting and my energy waning, but I kept on. If I don't stretch enough before walking my left leg hurts about half way through the route. If I stretch too much, my right knee hurts. I can't win. Anyway, I did it. I'll try walking twice tomorrow. See if I can get up at 8:00 again.
