raloriaI'm not even sure where this came from. One minute I was watching Picasa 3 scan my S5 screencaps in and the next I was looking at this one cap from the season finale and thinking how truly beautiful it was.
It's easy to look at Dean's poor battered face and feel the pain of that moment, but somehow I've been able to look beyond that to the fine details. This is not just a face battered and covered in crimson blood. It's an image of a man, a brother, who will not leave his sibling or let him die alone. All that determination and emotion in one eye and bloody mouth. There is a beauty in that.
