I've been feeling extra creative lately...so I've got some more pretty photos of Jensen. Just click on the thumbnails to see the full size images..

First up is a wallpaper I made, it's of Dean, of course! It's basically one of the season 2 promo photos that I mixed with various filters and effects in Photoshop. It's 1280 x 1024.

And just for the heck of it...I've got a few screencaps of Jensen in Dark Angel. These are from the episode "Borrowed Time" and were taken directly from the second season DVD set. So the first 3 are from the scenes with Alec and Asha at the Crash Bar. And the 4th...well...do you really need an explanation?



Btw, the first two screencaps here are inspired by this screencap from "Simon Said" provided by ExtremeFanGirl_ExtremeGraphix.

Ah, so much Jensen goodness in one day! First, there was seeing him on the Megan Mullally Show and then of course in "Simon Said" later on. I normally would have my review of the episode up by now, but I chose to make screencaps of Jensen on the MM show instead. Of course, this took longer than I expected. I ended up making over 90 screencaps! Realizing I couldn't keep them all, I narrowed it down to a little over 20. Then there were all the adjustments to be made in Photoshop with contrast, etc. Long story short, I don't have them all done yet. But I wanted to let everyone know that I'm working on them and hope to have them up by the weekend.

But so you get an idea of what's to come, here's a little preview...





*Sigh* He looked amazing! The white shirt, unbuttoned...*whimper*. I tell you, it was sheer torture looking at him frame by frame grabbing those screencaps. Yeah, right! Mmmmmm...so handsome! To me, Jensen is just classically handsome.

So the screencaps and my review of "Simon Said" will be done sometime this weekend. Just too much to do and not enough time. Seems like that's the story of my life.

Well, the countdown is officially on. The first season of Supernatural goes on sale in one day! I can't help but be excited. I've been looking forward to Sept. 5th for months. It seemed like it would never get here. It's been a long summer of waiting and counting down the months and weeks.

I have my day pretty much planned out. Best Buy opens at 10 a.m. so I'm going to get up early and make sure I'm there before they open the doors - just in case. I don't know how many fans of the show live around here, so I'm being careful. According to their ad in Sunday's paper, there will only be 10 copies per store that have the special bonus disc of the Paley Festival. I definetly want to get one of those. Of course, I'll be picking up the 2nd season of Lost while I'm there, but really...it's just...Lost. Nothing that important. Hah! My how things have changed. Before, I was a total Lost fan. Nothing like how I am with SPN however. This is a full-fledged over the top fandomonium. Is that a word? Oh well, it is now! :)

Anyway, the first things I'll watch on the set will be either A Day In The Life Of Jared & Jensen or the Gag-Reel. Can't decide which. Or maybe I'll watch the Paley Festival footage. Either way, I plan on watching all the extras first before I start watching the episodes. Can't wait to see them in all their widescreen glory! I've read that the image quality is excellent. I've already got my bag of Peanut M&M's for when I watch Wendigo!

In other news (what? there's other news?) the documentary crew will be getting back together for two straight weekends coming up on the 9th as filming resumes on the student film. I still have to get more mini DV tapes but nobody is having any sales. What is up with that??? Sigh! Guess I'll just have to pay full price. Grumble...grumble. Meanwhile, we (the documentary crew) need to get busy filming our interviews of the cast and crew. Still don't know when we're going to get those done. Plus, by the 18th I'll be back in a class - Anthropology. Big deal. I need it for my degree. Oh well, it might be interesting after all. Probably be like the Humanities classes I took before. Hopefully, the homework load won't be too bad.

And now for a test. I want to see if I can successfully post an image into a LJ page. So I've signed up for a Photobucket account (free!) and uploaded one of my screencaps from my DA DVDs. It's of Jensen of course! One of my favorites of him in fact.
