I've been meaning to send more postcards up to the studio this year and so far.....hmmm....not exactly getting the job done. I sent one in July, when they began filming, but nothing since then. So yesterday, along with all my Xmas cards, I send a postcard up to the frozen north. Here's the one:




Not terribly exciting 'cause I'm still working on my old stash of cards, but I told them how much I was enjoying S5, couldn't wait for the new episodes next month, and wished everyone there Happy Holidays. :D

Not sure there's time for most people to send cards before they quit filming next week, but anyway...

After not sending a postcard up to Vancouver since April, I was feeling pretty bad. Here they've been filming S4 since July and I haven't sent one card to the cast & crew. Shame, shame, shame. However, I took care of that today. :D



If you haven't sent the boys & the crew a card this season (or even if you have and it's been a while) here's a little reminder to send some love and appreciation to Vancouver.

There's only about 2 weeks left of filming for S3. I've heard they end on April 28th or 29th. But there's still time to send a last batch of postcards to tell Jensen & Jared and the rest of the cast & crew how much we care and love the show.

It doesn't cost much, (69 cents from the US), doesn't take long, and means so much to everyone in the production. Like Jensen & Jared have mentioned a few times, they're up there in this little bubble and really don't have a feel for what the fans are thinking. So send a little love to Burnaby! Handmade cards are cool, but they appreciate store bought ones as well. Keep it brief (you only have so much room after writing the address anyway), keep it clean and respectful, and just write from your heart. Tell them how much you're looking forward to these last 4 episodes/the season finale, give them congratulations on getting picked up for a fourth season, thank them for all their hard work and dedication, thank Jensen & Jared for their Con appearances, give some thanks to the directors and crew, too! :)

I wanted to get these sent off last week, but it just didn't happen. So hopefully, they'll get up to Vancouver by tomorrow, or by Friday at the latest. They're supposed to still be there up to December 5th and hopefully the guys will still be filming until then.

Anyhoo, here are the scans of the cards I sent today. I sent the Seattle one to the cast and crew and the cute prairie dog one to just Jensen & Jared! I've got them here as clickable thumbnails this time because otherwise it'll be too much for my fellow dialup users.

In other news, I had the TV on this afternoon and had just finished watching the noon news and DOOL came on. I was busy at the moment and couldn't change the channel (I don't normally watch soaps). Soon, who's voice do I hear? Dear, sweet Sandy's! I took a good look at the screen, and sure enough, it was her! She was wearing a yellow dress and was trying to pick up a guy in a bar. LOL. She did a great job, btw. It was a short scene, but she was there! Kinda cool that she was on the soap that Jensen was on years ago.

First of all, sorry to my Flist for spamming the heck out of you recently. Things will be quiet from me until Saturday though, so you'll get a little break. ;)

I'm sending my first postcard up to the studio in Vancouver this afternoon! I missed out on all the fun last season, but I bought a bunch of postcards and I'm determined to send some off this time.

I'm doing this for the spn_postcards "Welcome Back To The Set" campaign. Check out the comm for all the details. I hope some of you on my flist will join in on this. We wanna let the guys and the crew know we're behind them.

I know it's just a store-bought one, and not funny or original, but I bought 12 cards, so I've got to send them to someone. LOL! I do have one cute one with prairie dogs that I'll send next time.

Congratulations on getting a third season! Can't wait to see the new adventures & challenges awaiting Sam & Dean.

I'm hoping it'll get there by Monday or Tuesday. Just in time for a new work week to begin for them. So send a card to the guys & gals working hard to put out such a great show for us! It doesn't take long to scribble a quick note and I'm sure they'll appreciate it. :D
