Watch out...I'm feeling totally random. Heh. :)

I should be in bed right now, but I'm making this post while I'm waiting for some of my .wma music files to be converted to .mp3s on my PC, so I can play them in iTunes on my laptop. All because half of the music I have on the laptop is actually Christmas music. Which didn't leave a big enough playlist of regular music for my tastes. I like a lot of variety. Meanwhile, my logical brain is saying I shouldn't be filling up the laptop's hard drive with music. Heh. But my fun, soulful, creative brain says "Screw it! We need tunes!" LOL!

Plus, I'm reflecting on the fact that it's Jan. 2nd...the first day of Winter Quarter at the college...and I don't have any classes! Whoohoo! 'Cause I'm done, I'm finished! *does little crazy, happy dance* It still feels weird though. Guess that's why I haven't put away my backpack and all the stuff from last quarter. It just doesn't feel right for it not to be there, even though I curse at the thing every time I have to get into my lower dresser drawers, 'cause it leans up against them. Grrrrr. Ah, well. I'll get to it. It's on my to-do list. ;)

What else? Oh...[livejournal.com profile] trystan830 brainwashed me & bribed me with Jensen talked me into starting to read Sherrilyn Kenyon's "Dark Hunter" series. So I put "Fantasy Lover" on hold from my public library system last night. While I'm not a big book reader (kinda fell out of the habit after high school), I'm going to give it a try. It's one of my New Year's Resolutions, after all. :)

I was surfing around for free Mac downloads and came across a post about installing the Leopard OS. Turns out it takes an hour to install it on a MacBook Pro!!! o.O Eeeeep! I don't like the sound of that at all.

Mini-Rant: I'm sick of the days being so short. Can we just fast forward to April and have some decent daylight?

Big-Rant: For the past several days I've been getting electrical shocks off of anything metal (and sometimes not metal) that I touch. It's very annoying! I've even seen a spark now and then! Yikes! I turn on a light switch and "snap!" "ouch!". Not fun. Mom figures it's because the house is so dry from the heater running all the time. But I never had this kind of problem before during the winter. Weird. I wish it would just go away. It's getting to where I'm afraid to touch things. Look out folks! I'm fully charged! LOL

That's all I've got for now. Just a few random thoughts I wanted to get off my chest. Later I hope to finally get back to replying to your comments. Have a good day everyone! *hugs* :D
