Songs of the Season: The Holiday Edition - Day 3

Due to internet troubles last night, this entry didn't get posted, so here's the next couple of holiday goodies for your listening pleasure!

I'm going to try to post one or two seasonal/holiday songs a day. These will come from either my own CD collection or my online findings. I'll try my best to make a post each day and we'll see how many I can get done by Christmas day. These songs will run the gamut: from traditional to modern takes on old classics. There will be country, pop, jazz, oldies, big band, new age, comedy....anything and everything. And don't think that if you don't celebrate Christmas that there won't be anything for you. Not all of the offerings will be specific to Christmas. Some will be just about winter. They will all be favorites of mine and I'll give you some info. and why it's my fave with each song. Note: I'm using SendSpace for all of these downloads. Since I'm on dialup, it was just a logical choice to choose one host. If you have any trouble getting a song and would like me to use MegaUpload instead, just let me know and I'll try to get it up for you there.

I will also have each of these posts available to all for one week and then will Friends lock them.

This is the classic "Tales From The Vienna Woods" done Guy Lombardo style! I've always likes this version and while not a Christmas song, it still fits the season.


Dashing Through The Snow.mp3 -- By Timmins Concert Singers from "A Christmas Legacy" off of Amazon.com's Free Downloads section. I think that's where I got it...it's been a while.

A very energetic, live performance of "Jingle Bells"! This group has a really great sound.

Ten Inch Hero Video Screencaps

Like everyone else, I've downloaded/watched the TIH clip numerous times. I still laugh every time...and it's Jensen! So of course I had to cap it! :D

I made these from my own .flv file of the video saved off of YouTube. The quality isn't the greatest, but that's what you get with YouTube videos. I only enlarged them a tiny bit (350x263) because I didn't want to degrade the images any more than necessary.

There are 143 total, all in clickable thumbnails for easy dialup user viewing.
