Yaaay!!! I just finished catching up on my week old comments! Hurray! Done at last! :D

Great fun watching "Bad Day At Black Rock" again. Love the standoff between Dean and Bela, Sammy turning into an instant 5 yr. old when he loses his shoe, the cool music score, and in general all the great humor.

Now for the bad news...I just looked at the schedule for next week and SPN won't be on!!!! Instead we get "The 9th Annual Family Telvision Awards". Grrrr! So they won't even give us a rerun next week!

Oh, and this is just a sad sight on my Dashboard now....

*whimpers, cries*

Supposedly, the next new episode is set to air on Jan. 3rd. Hopefully this hasn't changed. If we're lucky, the CW will show all the remaining 4 episodes (3.09 - 3.12) through January. I really don't want to see them try and stretch them out in some attempt to out-wait the strike, 'cause I don't think that will work. Right now I don't even see any signs of the strike coming to a resolution anytime in the near future. I'm already starting to resign myself to the fact that after that 12th episode airs, the season of SPN will end as well. It's not a pleasant thought, but it most likely will happen that way. Then it will be a matter of hoping it's picked up for a 4th season so we can see some resolution to this season's story arcs.

Hope everyone has a happy Friday. Good luck in all your last minute shopping if you have any to do! :D

I just tuned in to Martha Stewart and JDM was her first guest! He looked so lean and trim, too! He was there to promote "P.S. I Love You", of course. But he did mention Grey's and even SPN briefly! *squeeee* He helped Martha make a Cuban Sandwich and he was very good at cutting up the pickles and the pork. Martha was so impressed. *g*

He even mentioned being from Seattle! *bounces* :D

Just saw an ad on TV for KING 5's Evening Magazine...JDM is going to be on the show tonight!
It's on at 7 p.m., so set your VCRs/Tivos!

Hmmmm...I should probably record this myself...especially since I missed getting him on Martha Stewart. ;)

Here I am making two JDM posts in a row and I'm not even a huge fan of the man. Moderate, I'd say, but not huge. *giggles* Ah, well....it's newsworthy and slightly SPN related....so it works. :)

I'm going to try to post one or two several seasonal/holiday songs a day. These will come from either my own CD collection or my online findings. I'll try my best to make a post each day and we'll see how many I can get done by Christmas day. These songs will run the gamut: from traditional to modern takes on old classics. There will be country, pop, jazz, oldies, big band, new age, comedy....anything and everything. And don't think that if you don't celebrate Christmas that there won't be anything for you. Not all of the offerings will be specific to Christmas. Some will be just about winter. They will all be favorites of mine and I'll give you some info. and why it's my fave with each song. Happy Listening!

Note: I'm using SendSpace for all of these downloads. If you have any trouble getting a song and would like me to use MegaUpload instead, just let me know and I'll try to get it up for you there.

I will also have each of these posts available to all for one week and then will Friends lock them.

Day 17 --

I've got a little treat today....a couple of selections from the Nutcracker Suite and the remaining songs from Ruduolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. And don't worry about the song "Holly Jolly Christmas" not being here...I'll be posting it soon! :)

Waltz Of The Flowers -- By The Royal Philharmonic Orch. from "The Best Of Christmas, Volume 5".

This is by far my favorite selection from the Nutcracker.

Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy -- By The Royal Philharmonic Orch. from "The Best Of Christmas, Volume 5".

This track is a close second.

There's Always Tomorrow -- By Janet Orenstein from "Rudolph, Frosty and Friends' Favorite Christmas Songs".

I've always loved this song. So full of hope and inspiration.

We're A Couple Of Misfits -- By Billie Richards and Paul Soles from "Rudolph, Frosty and Friends' Favorite Christmas Songs".

Rudolph and Hermie (Herbbie?) show us some misfit power.

The Most Wonderful Day Of The Year -- By the chorus from "Rudolph, Frosty and Friends' Favorite Christmas Songs".

The Island of Misfit Toys sing about Santa and his big night.

*** I'd love a comment if you're downloading any of the songs, thanks! ***
