Thursday is the busiest and most highly rated night on television right now. Even with Grey's Anatomy out of the picture for the time being, ABC guaranteed their winning streak by placing the new, but shortened season of Lost in its place. Meaning, of course, that SPN still has it's hands full battling it out with 2 big powerhouses yet again (the other being CBS's CSI).
But I just saw an article that gives me hope. There's no chance we were going to beat the top shows, but according to Zap2it, we didn't do badly either. Plus, I figure the fact that SPN was mentioned at all in the article has to be a plus!
Here's the important excerpt:
At 9 p.m., the season premiere of "Lost" scored a 9.5/14, the night's best rating. CBS moved up to second overall with a "CSI" repeat, 7.7/12. "Don't Forget the Lyrics," 5.9/9, was third for FOX, topping the 4.5/7 for "The Celebrity Apprentice" on NBC. "Supernatural" came in fifth for The CW.Read the whole article here.Fifth! That's good, right? It sounds good, anyhow. It kinda sucks that "Don't Forget The Lyrics" beat us in 3rd (what the???), but I still like to think that Supernatural is doing a good job in it's tough time slot.
