Mini-Picspam - Jensen

I found this new photo hosting site, Fumpr.com, and it's pretty nice for just a few individual photos here and there. There's no login, you just upload a photo and it's there forever. Pretty similar to some other hosts out there, but this one claims to be the fastest.

Since I uploaded a few pics just to try it out, I thought I'd do a few more to make a little mini-picspam of Jensen. These are just some of my favorites in my collection and they come from various online sources (including myself for the last one). Enjoy! :D

Just 'Cause - Costume Party Week

This cap from S2 "Everybody Loves A Clown".

We switch to Season Two today for the boys working as the clean-up crew at the carnival in ELAC. Btw, I couldn't find any "costume" caps for S3. The boys just wore a lot of suits, but nothing unusual. Maybe we'll get more in S4.

SPN Revealed S2 - status report & info.

Got up early again today (well, early for me, anyway). Yaaaaay!!!!! I'm not going to celebrate too much yet because it's only the second day. If I can keep this up for a week I'll feel I've really accomplished something. :)

Did some major posting yesterday, which was fun. There won't be that amount today, but I've still got a few things to post. Mostly I'm going to be working on prepping more for the upcoming return of the SPN Revealed series. I'm still getting requests/questions about doing S2 of SPN Revealed, and yes, rest assured, I'm working on it. It just takes a huge amount of time to get the posts ready. So many stages. But I've got the caps all fixed for IMTOD & ELAC and some of them done for Bloodlust. It just takes sooooo long fixing them all by hand. I'm going to attempt to speed up the process today by trying to batch process them to fix the image quality. This one-by-one thing is just driving me batty. Bah.

A quickie outline of what I do for the SPN Revealed posts:

--- Watch the episodes and take hand-written notes on what I see.
--- Type up the notes on the computer/laptop.
--- Make specific caps for the episodes based on my notes. I usually also spot extra things while I'm getting the caps, so those are added in as well and I add them to my notes.
--- Fix the caps for image quality.
--- Upload the caps to PB.
--- Type up the post with the caps. This takes the greatest amount of time, anywhere from 2 to 3 hours usually.
--- Post to my LJ & a few others and then collapse until it's time to do the next one. Heh.

Okay, folks that's all for now. Just a little status report to keep you all updated. I'm off to work on those S2 caps now. :)

I missed out on doing this meme thing when everyone else was doing it, then the site was down for a while. Now it's back up, so I thought I'd post my results. :)

As you can see, I've traveled a lot! These were practically all reached by roadtrip vacations, btw, and not by flying. And I know....shocking that I haven't been to Kansas. LOL! I just can't recall ever being there, or even through it...though I'm sure we had to have driven through the state on one of our trips. But since I can't find the evidence I'm keeping it out of the count.

SPN Revealed for S2 cap update...

Batch processed the caps I haven't fixed yet in Irfanview and finally found the right settings to where they look good over on the MacBook Pro. I figure this way most of the caps are already done and ready. If any need any other tweaking I can do it with the editing features within Photobucket...I figure. *hopes* If I need to deal with any caps in a special way, like leaving them large and cropping them, I can go ahead and do that in Picnik like I've been doing. But hopefully fixing most of the caps on the PC will save me a lot of work and time. Some of these early S2 episodes have produced 40-50 caps! I rarely use them all. In fact, I usually end up making some caps just because they're pretty, so those won't end up in the SPN Revealed posts. ;)

In other news...a few days ago I did something really stupid, but it didn't dawn on me until the next morning. I'd just finished uploading a whole ton of caps to PB and still had the caps in a folder on my desktop. In a late night fit of stupidity and wanting to clean up my desktop a little...I put the folder of caps in the trash and emptied it. Bye, bye caps. The next morning it dawns on me...I still needed to put those caps into zipped folders for people to download!!!! *facepalm* Aaaaarrrrggggghhh!!!! So I am now in the process of retrieving all those caps....the hard way. I'm taking them section by section in PB, copying the HTML code and pasting it into my Jottit website, then saving the webpage completely (to get all the caps on the page), and putting all the caps back into a folder on the desktop. *sigh* Tedious work. Bah. What a pain! >:(

I was kind of a grouchy-puss earlier today and this development with the caps hasn't helped. And my mom's aggravating me, too. Oh, and there's a muscle in my neck that keeps twitching/fluttering off and on. I've had my eyelid twitch before, but this bit in the neck is new. It doesn't hurt or anything, it's just annoying as hell. *twitches* Gah!

Okay, enough of my ranting. I've got more caps to retrieve. *sighs*
