Songs Of The Season: Holiday Edition II - Day 2

Another 4 random songs to share. Funny how most of them turned out to be about winter weather or snow, considering there's a HUGE winter storm hitting the U.S. west coast this weekend. Here in WA they're forecasting high winds, below freezing temps, and possibly lowland snow. Eeep.

Just 'Cause

Jared looked very nice in this episode. I especially love his two big scenes, this one in the diner w/Ruby (& those awesome red drapes in the background!) and then the final scene with all the ECU shots as he's trying to find out about his mom's friends.
I hope I can actually get some work done this weekend. Work....as in taking care of my photos from the film production. *sigh* Still haven't started on them...officially. I'm procrastinating, as usual. But if you were staring down the barrel at over 1,500 photos you'd feel a little intimidated too. But I know I've gotta get started. 'Course I've also gotta fit in putting up the tree, getting a xmas letter written to send out to the relatives, LJ stuff, and other RL stuff. Time to buckle down!

Winter arrives a little early

Ugh. The big winter storm hit. Mom & I tried to get our errands done early, but we didn't quite finish in time. By 7 p.m. we came out of a store and it was blowing a lot of very wet snow. By the time I got our purchases in the car and the snow cleared from the windows, I was soaking wet!

Now that we're home and I've gotten a chance to change out of my wet clothes and into some dry jeans and comfy slippers I feel a little better. I was soaked to the skin in my jeans and so cold. Brrrrrr. The snow has quit for now, but we might get more overnight and into Saturday. The temperatures are supposed to keep falling into the 20s and teens by Monday and Tuesday and then on Wednesday and Thursday more snow appears in the forecast. Gah! Luckily, one of the reasons we were out shopping today was to stock up for this storm, so we should be set for a while.

I'm off to check my flist and hopefully get to bed early tonight.

OMG....my local CW station is going to show "Spaceballs" this weekend. I've never actually seen the film before, but it looks silly enough that I might just tune in. *gigglesnort*
