I took a few photos out the windows at the 2 inches of snow we got Saturday night. It's been below 30 degrees since the snow started falling, so it hasn't melted much. Now, it's just clear and bitterly cold, but there's more snow showers in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday.

Four photos from my house & one webcam view of Vancouver.... )

Dear idiots at my local CW station,

You were already halfway through showing the movie "Independence Day". The President just said the famous line about nuking the aliens. You go to commercial break and then you start showing the movie from the beginning again?????? WTH?????????

Sure, I have the movie on DVD and could just pop that in and watch it. That's not the point. Who on earth is running things at that station? Monkeys?

No love from a disgruntled TV viewer,
Raloria

*grumblegrumblegrumble*

Update: And now after showing the first 15 minutes of the movie, they showed an ad for the film 5 times, showed some commercials and guess what? Now we're back to where they left off before, but minus those 15 minutes, because now suddenly Will Smith & Jeff Goldblum are heading off in the alien spacecraft! Idiots!!!!!!!

Sorry for the pointless post, but the ridiculousness of this simply had to be shared.

This cap from S4 "Monster Movie".

I love little moments like this. Note the same head position, squinty eyes, and nearly the same expressions. If these two get anymore alike they'll be twins. So adorkable! :P
It's already late, so I'll be posting the Songs Of The Season post after I get up. *sigh* So much to do! How can it be Monday already? How??? December is going far too fast for me.

To quote Santa Claus in the "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" TV classic, "Great bouncing icebergs!".

It's currently only 20 degrees here in the Seattle/Puget Sound area.

I'm going to bed now. I might just stay under the covers and hibernate there until May.

A couple of the Vancouver B.C. webcams I keep an eye on changed their position this evening, so I thought I'd share the new views of the city. :)

Oh, and please remember...I don't live in Vancouver (I live some 150 miles south, in Washington State). I simply appreciate the city for it's beauty and that our boys live and work there 9 months out of the year. Plus, Vancouver has some of the best webcams I've ever seen.

This is from KatKam, which is usually pointed towards the southwest and Burrard Bridge. But tonight they've turned the camera back towards the city.
I don't post from Numinous Numeriques too often. This guy mostly has his camera trained on the downtown area, but this time he got this great wide shot, showing the mountains behind the skyline! So pretty!
Btw, for a point of reference, the bright stripe of light on the right edge, is Burrard Bridge, from the other side.
