Sammy Tuesday! Today it's fierce & scary Sammy as he offs Gordon. Eeeep! or *guh* depending on how you feel about fierce-bordering-on-dark-side Sammy. ;)
Monday was a long day and I've been battling a headache off and on since coming home. However, watching young Jared on more episodes of S1 Gilmore Girls was most enjoyable and amusing....especially when they called him Dean. My brain kept going "No! He's not Dean. He's Sam!" LOL! Okay, time to take my sore head to bed. Have a good day everyone and special huggles to some of my flisters who are having a rough time right now. *HUGS*

Quickies 8 - Flist Edition

:: I have to learn to go to bed early. Really. This staying up late, getting up late....so not working for me. I didn't get up until 4 p.m. today. *facepalm*

:: We have a little fruit fly problem in our kitchen, but thanks to the internet I set out some home-made traps. First I put out a plastic dish with apple cider vinegar with plastic wrap on top with some small holes punched on top. That really didn't seem to be working, so I set out another little plastic container with some apple juice & a few drops of dishwashing soap (again, taking my cues from internet sites). Set them out before I went to bed and now....the apple juice one is the big hit. That dish is full of dead flies! YES! I'm not normally one to kill Mother Nature's creatures, but these bugs are a menace and there's something very satisfying of taking them out en masse like that. Die suckers! Woot! I need to dump the buggers out and set out some fresh juice, 'cause there's still some left flying around. Bah. The vinegar one worked somewhat, but they clearly love the juice better. ;)

:: I just ate half a bag of Garden Herb Triscuits, which has been my sole meal for the day so far. *facepalm*

:: Bought the newest issue of SPN magazine yesterday. There's an awesome interview with the guys in there...I'm thinking of scanning and posting it. I also picked up the Sci-Fi mag with the Misha Collins article and got the last issue of SFX with the SPN article. Woot! Score! \0/

:: I might be getting a new Digital SLR camera tomorrow. Whoo-hoo!!! It's this Canon EOS 50D. Best Buy has it on sale this week for $100 off their regular price. Not a huge sale, but every little bit helps. :) I've been looking at Canon & Nikon mostly, but this Canon camera has always stood out above the rest. I can't wait to get one and start using it. Got my sights set on heading up to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival next month for some major picture taking. My shutterbug finger is getting very twitchy now that spring is here. Wheeeee! ;D

:: Still couldn't find the SPN Companion for S3 book at my local Borders yesterday. Bummer. Looks like I'll be ordering that through Amazon.com along with that essay one.

:: Won't be taking my walk today. Bah. Got up too late, have hardly eaten anything...so no walk today. Phooey. This is turning out to be one screwed up week.

:: I use the Speed Dial add-on for FireFox, but lately the feature of being able to drag n drop the thumbnails around hasn't been working. I suspect it's because I'm using the latest beta of FF. Anyhoo, this little thing has been annoying me, 'cause my Speed Dial tabs are really a mess right now and I want to organize them and dragging & dropping is the best and fastest way. So last night I got to checking out the past versions and somehow found some beta versions of the add-on. Downloaded one, and voila! Drag n drop is back! Little things make me very happy. :D

Fandom Wank Makes My Head Hurt

Why can't people go to a SPN con and enjoy what opportunity it gives them? Why does it have to develop into wank online?

This is just the latest thing, but it's the final straw for me. I've got to say my piece. This is not going to just cover the latest Danneel bashing, but the Gen bashing as well.
