The 1st Cut
Oct. 26th, 2009 01:44 amI didn't really intend on starting my cut so soon, but I've been having numerous browser issues all night and while going through my flist, Safari crashed on me for about the 5th time and I lost all the info. I had going on about who to cut. I was simply using the Notes feature to select certain people and yep, all that was gone once I opened the browser again. *sigh* This has not been a good day at all.
So I went thru the list again, mostly based on memory and did a first cut of about 17 people. It was mostly old journals that haven't been updated in a long time, abandoned journals, or people I feel I haven't made a connection with (in a lot of cases because they haven't been posting to their journals). In all likelihood these people won't even know they've been cut.
Ideally, I should cut more, but I'm not sure if I will. This is so difficult to do and the decision of who to cut is a struggle for me. I will say that most of you are completely safe. A few....well....you're on the bubble and if I do end up cutting you it will be with regret. Btw, I won't make a public post about the cuts until I know I'm done for sure.
I'm so done with this day. It's been one thing after another and I've accomplished nothing. For once I'm actually looking forward to going to bed so I can start with a fresh day that will hopefully be better.
