Poll: SPN Season 4 & 5 Caps

I've spent the past several hours going through my caps and trying to get them a little more organized. They're sort of scattered across a couple of flash drives, an external HD, and my laptop. Not good, I know, but this happens after a while. I know I need to get back to capping episodes again. I was working on Seasons 2 & 3, but now w/the DVDs I need to incorporate S4 into that mix.

However....

Seasons 4 & now 5 are the only ones I have High Definition downloads for. This means the caps are nice and big (1280x720 - in most cases), however, they also have the CW logo & on-screen ads. The quality is top-notch and great for fanart use. But then there's the DVDs. No logo or ads, but I can only cap them at 853x480. Right now, my plan is to cap these 2 seasons both ways (& S5 once it comes out on DVD), but I thought I'd also do a poll to get your opinion on what you'd all like.

Btw, seasons 1-3 are/will be from the DVDs only.

I'd also like to let you know that I've done little more tweaking with the VLC player on my Mac and it's really putting out excellent caps now. In order to save time and save myself a lot of work, I'm planning on posting all caps from the player "as is" from now on. They'll still be HQ jpegs, but with no other tweaking by me. I think you'll still be quite pleased with the results and I believe I can also say they'll be brighter and more colorful than a lot of other HQ caps out there. ;)

I didn't have a very productive Saturday, but if one could look ahead to see what yesterday will bring as far as future posts go, it was probably a very good day. If that makes any sense. :P I'm really hoping to get through a lot more comments today. Thanks for voting in all my polls. I know I've been posting a lot of them lately, but I'm simply trying to get some idea of how everyone feels about things so I know how to proceed. On another topic....I watched "The Perfect Storm" for the 1st time on TV last night & OMG what a sad movie! :(

Friends Cut Coming

I hardly ever do friends cuts. I think this will be my second one, ever.

Because of the anonymous meme several weeks ago I haven't felt comfortable making certain posts in my journal anymore. Hence all the polls of late. I feel like I'm constantly under scrutiny and I have to watch what I say even in my own journal. I know I should just "let it go", and while I've tried, some strong feelings of doubt are still there and I can't seem to shake them.

I should be able to post whatever I want here, but right now I don't have that feeling. Hopefully reducing my Flist down a little will help. I don't really want to make this cut, but for my own peace of mind, I feel it's necessary.

The cut will be done sometime this week. New friends, of course, will not be cut, since we're still getting to know each other. If you also want to cut me and bow out now, feel free to do so. If I cut you and you feel it's wrong or unwarranted, please let me know.

I truly hate to be doing this, but I think it's the only way I'm going to feel at home again on my own journal. I hope you all understand and I apologize for any hurt feelings this might bring. This has not been an easy decision.
