The Impala is kinda dusty and dirty in this Sunday's cap, but that's alright. Dean will get her gleaming again. Yeah, still waiting for my "Dean washes the Impala" scene. *sigh*
Speaking of older episodes, capping the S2 &3 shows really makes you rethink a lot of things based on what we know now. Like Sam begging Dean to kill him if he ever becomes something that he's not from "Playthings" (which I just finished capping). Boy, hasn't that idea come into play a few times and it's still on the table for the future. *gulp* Spotted a continuity error in the eppy, too which was cool. I'll have to check my SPN Revealed notes & see if it's in there for the post in the future. Hope everyone has a pleasant Sunday. :)

New Header & Mood Theme

Felt like making another change 'cause I was tired of the Jensen MT. Thought I'd switch to this never-before-used Dark Angel animated one, since this is still Jensen's birth month and that was where I first saw him. ;)

That made me rethink the header, naturally and since I don't have any headers of Jensen in his younger years, I whipped out this DA inspired one in about 15 min. If it was a painting the paint would still be wet, it's so new. Heh. Probably not the best I could do, but I was in a rush.

I always liked these 3 images of his stint on DA. Oh, how long ago it was that he was Ben in that first season episode! He was so masterful as that character with so many layers. Showing the greatness that was yet to come from this talented actor. :D

SPN Season 5 Hi-Res Screencaps: 5x11 Sam, Interrupted

Time to share caps from the last four episodes before the show returns to new eppies on Thursday! Yay! :D

I've done something different this time, leaving the caps untouched and posting them as-is straight out of the VLC Player. All I've done is changed them from the original png files into jpegs. This gives everyone more freedom to adjust and "fix" the caps themselves if they wish.

From lemons to lemonade

The second day of this weekend and I'm again ignoring my to-do list. When the fanart-making bug bites though, you've gotta answer. ;)

Found myself going though some old folders of caps, test caps I'd made to be exact, when I was testing out various media players and settings. Some of them are in good shape & I fixed up a few of them for the Just 'Cause posts. Others are from my recordings of the show and are not very good at all. But...

I believe almost every cap, even the bad ones can usually be made into something. So I sorted thru them, deleting the ones I didn't like (there were over 300 and I've got it down to 56), and I'm now taking what's left and making icons out of them in Picnik. The magic is that once you crop and shrink an image down to 100x100 pixels, it can actually look pretty good. :) Picnik's Auto-Fix button does a great job on these caps, restoring the color and brightening them up.

I also made a gorgeous new header from one of the the better caps and I'm quite proud of it! Can't wait to share it with everyone. :D
