I'm gathering all my icons together, trying to get them in one spot so I can choose which ones to possibly swap in for my old userpics, plus fill up the 5 empty slots I have. It's a big task. Who knew I had so many???

Just counting the "Old Icons" right now, the ones I've posted on LJ, there are almost 1500! o_O

The second day of this weekend and I'm again ignoring my to-do list. When the fanart-making bug bites though, you've gotta answer. ;)

Found myself going though some old folders of caps, test caps I'd made to be exact, when I was testing out various media players and settings. Some of them are in good shape & I fixed up a few of them for the Just 'Cause posts. Others are from my recordings of the show and are not very good at all. But...

I believe almost every cap, even the bad ones can usually be made into something. So I sorted thru them, deleting the ones I didn't like (there were over 300 and I've got it down to 56), and I'm now taking what's left and making icons out of them in Picnik. The magic is that once you crop and shrink an image down to 100x100 pixels, it can actually look pretty good. :) Picnik's Auto-Fix button does a great job on these caps, restoring the color and brightening them up.

I also made a gorgeous new header from one of the the better caps and I'm quite proud of it! Can't wait to share it with everyone. :D

:: Woke up early this morning from a dream. Apparently it's time for my weird convention dreams to start in again. *sigh* This time I was in a small room w/a bunch of fans waiting for Jensen to come sign autographs. For some weird/happy reason, I was seated in the front row! But I didn't have the pic that I wanted to him to sign. I kept looking through my folder of photos and nothing was good enough and I kinda panicked. I asked one of the volunteers how much time I had, but she said Jensen would arrive in less than 5 minutes! Gah! I think I remember him coming in the room, but then I woke up. Darn it! What is it with the cons and these weird dreams??? Crazy.

So I didn't get much sleep and now I'm all bleh & tired. It's been a very unproductive Sunday so far. :(

:: In pulling more caps for my Name That Cap Challenge, I got bit by the icon-making bug once again last night. So far I've made 36 S1 icons and 10 icons from S2. I also pulled & fixed more S1 caps for the Just 'Cause posts.

:: Since the PC's been behaving itself last night & today (so far), I'm giving the laptop the day off. I'm sure the Mac's thankful. It's my little workhorse. *pets it*

:: Got several posts lined up for tomorrow: S5 Caps, A Comm Announcement, Goals for my LJ this month, & a new post series.

:: Think I'll change my LJ background back to my usual red tonight or tomorrow. Time for another new look, new header, new Mood Theme.


I think that's it for now. So sleepy....zzzzzzzz....
