Sorry for posting so late, but we didn't get back from Vancouver until 2:30 this morning. o_O
So this cap is late, but it's still here for the day. We all need a little Dean this afternoon/evening right?
Just finished catching up on LJ & Twitter as much as I could. Feeling a little behind on all the latest happenings online and in the real world. Another oil rig problem? Really??? :( Today is unpack/catch-up/settle-back-into-real-life day. I've also got a mountain of comments to reply back to, pictures to sort, rename, prepare to post, etc. There's also lists to make pertaining to VanCon...let's just say there's a ton of things to do. In other words, we're back to the same old, same old. :P Loving my new default icon by [livejournal.com profile] mummy_daydream of Jensen at the Sunday Breakfast. Lip Bite! Ok, time to stop rambling and get some things done. *hugs*

Couldn't resist making a new header from one of those new pics of Jensen from last week. *guh*

Sometimes I still have a hard time believing I saw him in person, that I touched him, that I looked into those gorgeous green eyes...*slips into VanCon-Land*

The background tile is new, too. A nice, grungy square pattern. Using a new Mood Theme, well old really, of Jensen. ♥ :)

My first day home from Vancouver and I'm feeling those post-convention blues. I'm happy to be home, but I miss Vancouver, the convention, my friends, and our hotel room sooooo much! It was a wonderful week and weekend and now it's back to my boring normal life. No more enjoying views from our 7th floor hotel room of the city and the Granville bridge, no more delicious meals from the White Spot, no more Location Hunting.

Wednesday's Location Hunting & drive home and reflecting on the Convention...w/some pics )

Promised to post these pics before VanCon, but I didn't have the time.

This 1964 Chevy Impala convertible was in the parking lot of our local Fred Meyers grocery store. It was a hot day, so it's natural to see some convertibles about, but it's rare to see an Impala in this good a condition. She's a beauty! Of course, I've got a soft spot for the 64 because that's the car my dad had when I was little. :) Ours was a pretty turquoise though. Check out my old Impala post to see pics of her. Our car is in my icon, too. *g*

Two pics behind the cut... )
