May. 11th, 2017 04:02 amPlease excuse the slight blurriness of this photo. This was way back when I was still learning my camera and only my 2nd con, and so many of these Sunday Gold Breakfast Panel photos came out totally out of focus. This was a rare semi-good photo. Boys!!! :D

Change is inevitable
Dec. 3rd, 2013 04:13 pmSince July of 2011 Matt Cohen has been using a photo I took of him at VanCon 2010 as his Twitter avatar.
Alas, those days are over. :(
Matt announced the other day that he was looking to change his icon and profile background.
Sure, enough today I see where he's got new photos up. *sigh*
I thanked Matt several times for using my photo. Even had him sign a print of it in 2012, I believe.
Well, it was fun while it lasted. Over 2 years...that's pretty impressive.
Alas, those days are over. :(

bardicvoice & sn_mistress. I believe we'd gotten a hint from Russ Hamilton that they'd filmed at a certain restaurant in Surrey. We'd been tracking some filming signs (which never did pan out that yr - le sigh) when we came across this restaurant.
We stopped and ate lunch there, but the interior didn't look familiar at all. Still, we thought the possibility was there. We'd check into it later.
And nearly 2 years later I make the connection! I was looking through my location caps and found this scene of Famine entering a Biggerson's restaurant with his entourage.
Somehow it looked familiar. Sure enough...found the receipt, looked it up on Google, and ta-da! Kalmar Restaurant in Surrey! They only used the exterior, the interior was done in the studio, but we had been there! *squee* Pretty cool!
