Music Monday: "Swing Low, Sail High" by The Wailin' Jennys

Haven't done one of these posts in a while, but I just had a moment and felt the need to share.

My dad and I often shared tastes in music. We would swap music tracks or albums back and forth, and even talk about them. It's different with my mom and I. I'll listen to her music, but she very rarely will stand for any of mine. In this respect my dad and I were closer.

This song came on my music player just now and for some reason I thought of him. I think he would've liked this song, this group, even though he died before they came on the scene. I guess it just hit me that I can't talk to him about music anymore. That and his birthday is coming up near the end of August. Getting a little tearful just thinking about it all.

The "Wendigo" BluRay caps are all ready to be posted and I got all my email accounts cleaned out & organized. I'm getting things done and out of the way in preparation for VanCon, but I keep avoiding the most important thing...the SPN Locations List. *sigh* I don't know why. Maybe because I'm anticipating it being a big job like last year? And here we are in August already. Gah! Must. Get. Busy. *kicks procrastination out the door* Not sure what's happening today, but it'll be busy, I'm sure. Have a good Monday folks & happy extra day off to my Canadian neighbors. *hugs*

Ooof! This is what I get for letting them get out of hand once again...and for posting so much. *facepalms*

All I know is I don't want them out of control like they were last year just before VanCon. *shakes head*

SPN Season 1 BluRay Screencaps: 1x02 Wendigo

My goal is to have BluRay caps replace all my previous versions made from regular DVDs or Hi-Def downloads. I'll cap & post Seasons 1-5 simultaneously, meaning all the first episodes, all the second episodes, and so on. Hopefully, I can get Season 6 the same way in the future. In the meantime, enjoy the caps! :D

Walking: Day 35

Originally mom & I were going to do more clothes shopping today, but she was too sore, so we stayed home.
Good for me though. I got another walk in. *g*
Another perfect weather day with sun and temps in the 70s. I waited until late so avoid the hottest part of the day which helped. Had a little right lower leg pain again, but I tried varying my pace to keep it from getting too bad. Meanwhile, I'm starving because I haven't eaten that much today. Some turkey lunch meat on crackers and then a cheese, grapes, apples mix.
