SPN Locations List Project: Progress

Got a lot of work done on the LL Wednesday.

:: Marked a printed out list of the locations on the Google Map based on cities. (Which I've now discovered was pointless...ah, well)
:: Uploaded new maps & Google Street Views to Photobucket
:: Made 2 new separate Google Maps. Map #1 is of locations in Vancouver & North Vancouver. Map #2 is of locations in Burnaby & New Westminster.

The 2 new Google Maps are an effort to make the LL more user-friendly based on location instead of episode. I found out how to import Google's KML file to a new Google Map. It also helps to have a full back-up file of all those locations on the main Google Map. I will be keeping the full Google Map btw.

Oh, and the former links to the original Google Map might no longer work. I had a slight mishap and started editing that map instead of my copy. Ooops! All will be fixed by the time I post everything. In the meantime, if you need the link to the full Google Map of Locations before then, just let me know.

The process of making the smaller Google Maps is slow. I have to import the whole list of locations, then delete one by one all the places I don't want on that particular map. I have at least 5 more maps in the works, but now that I know the process it should go faster. Too bad there's not a "mass-delete" function in Google Maps. *sigh*

Picspam: Vancouver BC - Part 2

In preparation for this month's VanCon, I've been preparing to do a few picspams in honor of Vancouver. This will be in 3 parts: Vancouver, certain city landmarks, and then a third picspam featuring the convention hotel, the Sheraton Wall Centre. :D

Not so sure about this one, but it was a dark cap to begin with which opened it up easily for B&W. I love how you can instantly tell this is soulless Sam just by his expression and stance.

Today's cap is for theron09 who requested "something from the Pilot" on Twitter the other day. I fixed 4 BluRay caps and then had a hard time choosing between just those few! *iz hopeless* :P So I went with the first one.
OMG What a week! So much going on and so much to do. I literally crashed after supper last night. Napped for a little over an hour, I think. Soooo tired/sleepy. Speaking of sleep, I'm heading to bed shortly. Oh! I bought a ducky yesterday! I'm gonna look for another 1 or 2, but at least I've got one! *squee* It's so cute, too! And on another note...everyone's going gaga over the latest SPN casting news? I'm all "Meh. Who cares?" 'cause I never watched that show. And no, I don't wanna watch it either. Not interested. Now if they get someone from X-Files then you'll hear some major squealing here. *g* Bed is calling. Have a good Thursday folks! *hugs*

Please keep in mind the SPN Locations List is still a work in progress!
There's still a lot to do and a lot of changes to be made. It'll be done (in one form or another) by the time VanCon starts. I have new locations to be added to all the seasons and I'll be adding them into the LJ posts and the PDF files this weekend.

Edit: I'd also like to say to those of you who've sent me PMs lately that I have gotten them and read them, but haven't had a chance to get back to you...yet. Sorry for my tardiness! *runs around in circles* Just a little crazy around here.
