I almost didn't even watch this episode overnight...didn't feel up to it emotionally for a while. Found myself feeling really down and in a blue funk for a while, but it passed and I decided watching the episode could help.

VanCon 2016: Canon Powershot Pics - Day 3: J2 & Misha

This wraps up these Canon Powershot pics from the last VanCon.
Sadly, I only have 2 shots each of the boys...most of them were too blurry. Bleh. But I assure you there are plenty of high quality photos of the boys from my other camera. ;) We also have Misha kissing his cardboard cut-out. Hee! And I left the pic of Rob here because even though it's blurred, it also looks very angelic or other-worldly like and I thought it was cool.

These were taken with my smaller Canon camera and are not the greatest quality. My normal practice is to take a few shots with this camera at the beginning of each panel or whatever and then switch to my bigger Canon camera for the rest. And sadly, I was having a lot of trouble finding the right settings for the smaller camera this time around. I don't know if it was the lighting they were using or what. A lot of these photos have been fixed by me because they were so dark and/or had an orange color cast. The fixed ones have an "x" at the end of the filename. There's a lot of blurriness, too, but I took out the worst offenders. There's a few good gems here and there though. Hopefully, you'll still find these pics enjoyable. :)

Fade In, Fade Out: SPN's Beginnings & Endings - 5.03 Free To Be You And Me

I'll try to post these every other week day (Mon-Wed-Fri), but I make no guarantees. Sometimes there will be more than one cap for a beginning or ending of an episode. I'm also using my capper's discretion - meaning I'm choosing the most aesthetically pleasing image that we see first or last not always literally the first or last things we see. I'll explain this as we go along.

5.03 Beginning: We begin with a shot of the Great Plains Motel at night and then see Sam asleep in bed. He's about to wake up and find he has a visitor...his dead girlfriend Jessica.







5.03 Ending: At the episode's end Sam is again visited by Jess, but it turns out to be Lucifer in disguise. He tells Sam that he is his true vessel and that he will say yes and give his consent, but Sam denies it.
LUCIFER: "Sam. My heart breaks for you. The weight on your shoulders, what you've done, what you still have to do. It is more than anyone could bear. If there was some other way...but there isn't. I will never lie to you. I will never trick you. But you will say yes to me."
SAM: "You're wrong."
LUCIFER: "I'm not. I think I know you better than you know yourself."
SAM: "Why me?"
LUCIFER: "Because it had to be you, Sam. It always had to be you."
