raloriaI don't have time to do my whole First Impression post for 3x13 yet, so I thought I'd do a brief little round up of my thoughts about the shows I watched last night.
Supernatural: Loved it! It was wild, different, and hilarious. Kripke said people would either love it or hate it. I loved it, my mom hated it. Well....maybe hate is too strong a word. But she didn't see the point in it. It lived up to my expectations and that's all I cared about. Btw, I spent 3 hours making caps of the episode and let me tell you....*ahem*....it's a total bitch to cap. It's dark, out of focus, has lots of action, and is full of shaky camera shots. Ugh. A capper's worst nightmare, but I got some good ones. :) Btw, I didn't mind the shaky camera in the episode. They were going for that look, and it was done well and realistically. What I don't like is seeing shaky camera work that has no purpose or is done for the wrong reasons. But this....very much achieved what they set out for.
I'll get my First Impressions post done over the weekend, with the usual B&W caps of each of the boys!
Lost: Oh, Lost....your time jumping is....so...confusing. Just what year is it anyway? It was a cool episode, though. Loved the bit with Locke, Sawyer, and Hurley playing Risk. Heehee! And how awesome was it to see Sawyer be Mr. Hero all of a sudden? Shooting at the bad guys, rescuing Claire, and trying to protect Hurley. Awww....the bad boy really does have a good heart. I wanted to feel for Ben, losing his daughter, but I really couldn't. He gambled like he always does and someone turned the tables on him. Hurts doesn't it, Ben? Shame your daughter was a pawn in your twisted game and lost her life because of it. Nice to see that Sayid finally found and married Nadia, but so sad that she was killed. Will these people ever know any peace again? Liked seeing Bernard again...and the man knows Morse Code...awesome! Poor Jack's not feeling too well, which I guess we'll see more of next week. Some clever poisoning perhaps by our new "friends" from the ship? Hmmmmmm...... [Yeah, I know they mention his appendicts in the promo, but who knows? I sense something fishy afoot here.]
Survivor: The women are taking over!!!! Heehee! Wow! I miss Ozzy, but since he was voted off last week...the women in the tribe have totally taken control over the game. Pavarti and James are now at odds....which is weird. The most hot/bizarre moment? Erik licking chocolate cake and frosting off Cirie's fingers in the Reward Challenge Auction! He paid like $40 dollars (or was it $400?...don't remember) to get the food and before he got started, gave an “oh mama” and practically inhaled one of her fingers. Whoah! *dirty thoughts* Hee! And just like Ozzy before him, Jason got totally blindsided by the women and was voted off. He had the Immunity Idol, thought he was safe, and didn't play it. Muhahahahahahahaha! Oh, guys...the women are totally outsmarting/outplaying you!
I know nobody on my flist is even going to read that last one, but I've been with Survivor since day one and I love it. It's the first and still the best reality show on TV, IMO.
