I'm currently watching the Season 5 finale of Lost, "The Incident". Now I expected to see Mark Pellegrino as Jacob, but who I didn't expect or remember from when I first saw this eppy when it aired....was Titus Welliver, the Man In Black.

So there's SPN's Lucifer and one of the 4 Horsemen, War, sitting on a beach in Lost.

OMG! Heehee! Too weird and wonderful at the same time! :D

Watched the season premiere of Lost. After going so long without the show and thinking I didn't really care anymore, I found myself all caught up in the characters again. And Sawyer? Dude, you can go shirtless like that anytime. Yum!

Took me forever to go back through my flist tonight/this morning. Not that I'm complaining, but going back 250-300? Phew!

Note to Jensen comm moderator: If you've only had to re-post the rules of your comm 3 times since the comm was created in 2005, that's really not a big deal. So you had to delete 2 posts in one day because someone posted something spoilery and someone else had trouble with their lj-cut. Seriously. Get over it. I don't run a comm, but I've seen this thing happen all the time on SPN comms. It's nothing new. It's SOP for a LJ comm moderator in my book. Chill out and duck back into the shadows where you were before.

Tried to find "The Christmas Cottage" on DVD at Fry's last night, but no luck. *iz bummed* Guess I'll be ordering it from Amazon after all. Speaking of Jared...they showed an ad for Friday the 13th during the Lost broadcast! *squee* Hardly any Jared though, so mini-pout within a squee.

Oh, almost forgot to mention that I saw an Impala yesterday (Wednesday) at the Post Office! It drove by before I pulled out of the parking lot. It was a 1964 or close to it, because it looked like the one we had. It was also maroon in color, 2 door, and a convertible (w/the top on). So cool all the same even if it wasn't a 67. Seemed to be in good condition, too. :)

Can't believe it's SPN Thursday already! Where did the week go? It totally snuck up on me this time. Yay! New eppy! :D

It's update time again. Seems like there's all sorts of little things to mention. And since I'm lazy, I like to put them all together in one post. :)

I don't have time to do my whole First Impression post for 3x13 yet, so I thought I'd do a brief little round up of my thoughts about the shows I watched last night.

Just a bit of random...'cause I'm bored and sleepy....zzzzzzzz.

* I think I'm sleepy because I overslept my alarm today. Bah. Hate that when it happens. Makes me groggy and ready to nap all day long. This in turn makes me really un-motivated to get to replies. Sorry. Maybe later on if I wake up a little more because I really wanted to spend a lot of today getting to your comments. *sigh*

* Okay, I know it's Thursday people, but there's no SPN on tonight (again!...le sigh...I miss new adventures with the boys!). Where is everyone?????

* I was standing in a long line at Fry's Electronics last night and overheard this from the guy & gal in front of me...

Her: "You don't even have a garbage can. How can you not have a garbage can?"
Him: "I'm a guuuuuuuuyyyyyyyyy!"

Me? *gigglesnort* It was internal...I swear. *looks innocent* :)

* Lost....you're trying my sanity. You really are. I mean....what the hell?????

* Just read the sides for 3.14. Sounds like a rockin' episode. And no, that isn't spoilery....I say that about all the sides. :P Lots of interesting stuff. That isn't spoilery either...I said so. Pbbbbt. *blows raspberry*

* I'm so happy filming is resuming on SPN today!!!!! So cool to think the guys are a mere 158 miles are so to the north of me. :) I know they're happy to be back to work. The time off was nice, but it's time to do what they're paid and love to do (and we love to see them do)....act. :D

And to celebrate today....

The boys are back on the set and all is right in the world again. *happy sigh* :)

It's only taken me all day and evening to get this post typed up. Ah well. At least I'm more awake now than when I started. :D

I'm still reveling in the aftermath of S2's season finale, but I just had to make a quick post in advance of my big review.

In one word, this season finale was outstanding. Great work all the way around - with the writing, direction, camera work, lighting, and acting. We got some more questions answered, the big bad finally got killed off, and we ended on a satisfying note instead of a major cliffhanger. I'm very happy! And I'm already anticipating Season Three!!!! Four more months, four more months!

So I'll be working on my big review with caps over the weekend. I'm gonna try my best to keep the cap count under a hundred this time. It won't be easy, but I will do what I can. Then there's typing up my review w/quotes and such, uploading the caps, recording audio from the key moments and scenes, uploading those, and then finally putting together the review on my LJ. So hopefully *crosses fingers* by Monday, my review will be up.

Just some little tidbits:

* I quickly switched to ABC to watch the Lost special after SPN ended only to find out Grey's Anatomy was going over by 15 min.! Grrrrrr! Had to watch some of dumb Grey's. Thankfully, the Lost special was well worth waiting for. It was a nice overview of all the known facts and it helped clear up some of the confusion. I feel ready to see the season finale now.

* After the Lost special, I went back to my recording of SPN to remove the commercials and then watch the eppy one more time. During the second viewing, I kid you not, the lights in the house flickered a few times. All I could think was, "OMG! The YED's coming back!" LOL! It was too weird. No wind or storm outside either. Weatherwise everything was perfectly calm. So bizarre!

* On a sad note, I just found out Supernatural Media is no more! *Waaaaaah* That's where you could always get the best promo images for the episodes. They were always hi-res and gorgeous! And worst of all, I never finished saving all the additional photos they'd been posting from Season One! Aaaarrrrrgggghhhh! Where am I gonna get those images now?

* No Jared or Jensen at the upfronts yesterday morning. Understandable that Jared wasn't there with his movie filming and all, but Jensen was there for a party the night before. Word is, he didn't want to attend the upfronts without Jared. I've read where some fans are a bit upset about him not going. They say he still should've gone to help represent the show. Well, to me, it sounds like the announcement for SPN & Smallville's renewel was a minor one. They were shown briefly in the opening montage, but otherwise they were kind of overlooked so the network could lavish its attention on its new shows. This is kind of understandable. They want the new shows to do well, so they're pushing them hard. SPN (& Smallville) are already well established. It's like "yeah, they're returning, now let's talk about the new shows". Besides, I'm sure Jensen's exhausted from all the traveling he's been doing. First Tokyo, then the UK, and who knows how many trips back here to the states inbetween. That hectic schedule would wear anyone out. Maybe he was told there wasn't going to be a big deal made over the show at the upfronts so he opted out? Who knows. Sure it would've been great to see him there, but after all, he's got a play to prep for. He's certainly keeping busy during his "break".

Last month 2 friends took me to my first Chinese restaurant (yes, it's true, I've never had Chinese before) - a buffet actually. Naturally, we each grabbed a fortune cookie on our way out. My cookie happened to have 2 different fortunes inside:



"You will have gold pieces by the bushel."


"You may lose the small ones but win the big ones."

I'm still waiting for that gold to show up... :)


It's the beginning of a new week, so it feels right to post a little status report....
