Got caught up on a few shows.
Put my thoughts behind cuts in case of spoilers for anyone who hasn't watched them yet.

Chicago Fire:

Whoah! First that bombing episode(s) then this.

So happy for the Chief getting married. That was a sweet little ceremony with all of the firehouse there.

I miss Clarke, dammit. :(

But OMG that ending! All of 51 was in that building except the Chief! I knew something bad was going to happen and at first I thought the floors would collapse (hard to show that from the outside though). The explosion actually kinda surprised me. Who will survive? o.O

Castle:

Gah! We were cheated out of the fairytale wedding!!!!!!! I want my wedding, dammit! I love how most of the things that went wrong actually turned out better in the end: the venue change, Kate's dress.
There's no way Castle was in that car. Whoever was in that black vehicle grabbed him then crashed and burned the car. Question is, of course, who?

I keep wondering when she's gonna stop calling him Castle and switch to Rick or Richard instead. :P

Arrow:

They totally had me going with the "I love you" scene between Oliver and Felicity. OMG I thought...finally!
Then it turned out to be a trick to get Slade. Damn! It was ingenious though. Good on Felicity for coming up with the answer. I'm so glad she got to be the one to carry it out. Nobody would have suspected her.

Then we get the scene at the end on the beach...both saying they played their parts well. Yeah, but Felicity totally believed what Ollie said. It's been obvious since S1 that she's got a crush on him and this season it's been looking like he could feel the same way. I think maybe Ollie does, but he doesn't realize it yet.

Can you tell I totally ship these two? *g*

I need some Arrow icons. :P

A little update from my last post back in October.

Monday

-- It had a rocky start, but I'm pulling for either JR & Karina or Ricki & Derek to win.
-- Still lovin' the show. Sometimes I get irritated that they're not moving the Beckett/Castle romance along, but I'm trying to be patient.
-- Fun seeing Terry O'Quinn added to the cast as an occasional guest star. Meanwhile the bromance of Steve & Danno is turning epic! lol Their banter is perfection!
-- It's still managing to hold my attention. I must admit, Terrance O'Mara is a big reason I keep watching.

Tuesday

-- I'm still watching this, but half the time I'm wondering why. LOL I guess there's something about the quirky, crazy comedy that keeps bringing me back. Oh, and I do love how the guys are so protective of Jess even though they think she's kinda weird. :P
-- One of my favorite shows every single week. I go through so many emotions is just one hour of this show, usually ending with me in tears. The Bravermans own me heart and soul.

Wednesday

-- I hope Ozzy doesn't screw things up. I'd like to see him win this one. Pulling for Dawn, too. She's a good gal.

Thursday

-- All the twists & turns this show takes keeps me coming back week after week and I love the characters!
-- I tried. I really did, but I've dropped this show. I got sick of the girls screaming over every little big bad they ran into and the dialog just left me feeling flat. It got so bad that I started to fall asleep. Always a bad sign.
-- So I'm trying to get into this show to fill the hole left by TSC. So far...meh. The first episode I watched wasn't too bad, but the last one? Ugh. It's like watching two robots run around. There's no moments of lightness or even a cracked smile. Not sure I'll be able to keep with this show.
-- Has been canceled by NBC. Boo! I've really been enjoying this gritty cop drama. I like Jane. She's one tough cookie, trying to prove herself amongst a squad full of males. I will miss this show. *sigh*

Friday

-- Do I even have to say I'm loving this season? I love them all. *g*
-- Haven't even watched any of this season yet. *hides in shame*

Sunday

-- Of the teams that are left I'm really pulling for Andy & Tommy (these dude always have fun) and Bill & Cathi (yay for the older married couple!).

Watched the rerun of Castle's season finale last night and they ran this promo for the Season 4 premiere. Eeeee!!!! I'm so ready for Sept. 19th! :D

We did it again!!! SPN won for Favorite Sci-Fi Series, Jensen won for Favorite Actor (yay!!!!), and Castiel (Misha) won for Favorite Non-Human! Whoo-hoo!!!! \0/

I'm happy Castle & Dancing With The Stars won as well! And I must admit, even though I haven't watched lately, I'm glad The Big Bang Theory won for Favorite Comedy. Well-deserved wins...all of them! But YAY! for our boys!!!!! :D

I'm trying not to totally give up on these posts. Really. It's simply that I'm so busy with SPN all the time, it's a little tough to devote any time to the other series I watch.

So here's a little overview of what I'm watching & thoughts about them right now.

:: Seriously loving LJ's new Notes Feature! I'm so forgetful about names and such. This is really gonna help me remember who you all are. :D

:: Actually woke up at a decent time today and so far...no napping! Woot! \0/ *iz so proud*

:: Is it just me, or is LJ super, duper quiet right now? Are there that many Harry Potter fans that they've all left on a wizard retreat? Come to think of it, I seem to recall this happening the last time a new HP movie came out. Sheesh. I'm starting to feel like the only one left on LJ.

:: Thanks to hells_half_acre & bardicvoice for your SPN locations lists. I'll be working on my list later on this evening and see what your additions are. Thanks again my dears!

:: The famed Sears Tower in Chicago is no more. It's been renamed the Willis Tower. Screw that. It'll always be the Sears Tower to me (& I bet a lot of other people, too). Heck, I don't even live in Chicago and I've known it as the Sears Tower my whole life. :P

:: Castle started filming it's 2nd season today! Wheeeeeee! Can't wait! :D

:: I miss having something to watch on TV now that Harper's Island is over. Oh, well. Maybe this means I'll get more real life stuff done, huh? ;)

:: Things to Post: Jared Icons, Harper's Island Finale Review, ELAC Cap Preview, My friending/defriending policies, and a few other things I haven't figured out yet. Hee! :)

I'm all messed up. Working on organizing our massive DVD collection all Monday does that to me I guess. Then I watched my normal Monday night programs, Dancing With The Stars and the new series Castle. I'm now signed up to vote for DWTS after all these seasons of being just a passive viewer. I have no absolute favorite so far, it's too early. Meanwhile, I liked this episode of Castle even more than the Pilot, though I'm starting to feel as I saw mentioned somewhere that Susan Sullivan's character of his mother seems out of place and unneeded. The daughter's fine, but the mom has to go, I think.

stolenglimpse and I worked together to try and figure out the mystery and confusion surrounding screencaps, aspect ratios, and resolutions. It took some time, but I think we each found answers for our own individual cap problems. Now that's some awesome teamwork! *high fives* \0/ Long story short? I can see now that the resolution for all of my DA caps is off. Yikes. Fixing them isn't a huge deal, but re-posting the new ones is. This is now on my long-term To-Do list. Ugh. :(

Took my walk after 3 days of not walking, but got home & then forgot to post about it. Ooops. So I guess this is my post....after a fashion. Anyway, the weather cleared up long enough for me to take my walk and while it was still cold and a bit blustery, it wasn't too bad. I sure did feel tired once I came home though. I guess missing 3 days had a big effect!

Oh, and thanks to growyourwings's encouragement I added Jim Beaver as a friend on Facebook! And he added me back Monday afternoon! Woot! I went ahead and then added a few of my filmmmaking contacts in the area. I also started looking for other friends, past classmates, filmmaking buddies, etc. One friend led to another friend and so on. I only added a couple of people, but one of them already added me back. I even ended up on MySpace and toyed with joining up there, but I'm not quite ready yet, so I held back on that for now.

Man...I'm so tired right now. I didn't get back to replying to comments *iz bad LJ friend* and now it's time to scramble and get my icon & cap posts up before I rush off to bed. I hope the rest of my Tuesday is a little more...normal?
