Hey gang! I got this wonderful message from a woman yesterday in my LJ Inbox, but she's not on LJ. She commented using her Facebook ID.

If I reply back to her through LJ's Inbox will she even see it???
Because I've tried this in the past and never got another response.
But at the same time it would be super weird to post a message on her Facebook page. *sigh*

It was such a lovely message and I'd so love to reply back to her, to thank her & answer her questions.
But...how???

Anyone have a solution or answers?

I wonder who was filming the second video and said "Idiots" that made Jensen nearly spit out his drink? LOL Clif, probably. And Jensen's whole "Whoah!" when Jared said "Ten down, ten to go." Heehee!

Just finished season 10!!!! 10 years. Same show and same ugly co-star. But damn is he lovable. Here is my post season interview with my boy Jared Padalecki. Cheers everyone!!!

Hate to post this much but it's a season 10 wrap and we thought we would try and capture a little memento for ourselves. Dumb idea.

As I stated yesterday, things are less than ideal in RL right now. Tonight I was looking online for some diversions and laughs and ended up looking at videos on youtube, mostly con videos. There's nothing quite like Jensen, Jared & Company to lift ones spirits and give you a good laugh.

I realize I'm late to the party, but this moment from BurCon last month is truly a gem! Richard messing around with the video screens and then the ceremony of returning the red gym shorts to Jensen. Pure Gold!



I also watched the Larry King interview with Misha (finally!). Fun stuff, but I agree with some YT commentators that Larry doesn't seem to "get" Misha's humor. Shame. And for some reason it made me think of how Misha was on the first cruise he hosted through Creation at the 2011 VanCon. It was such a treat to see him going from group to group of fans and talking to everyone. Not being the con-persona Misha that makes everyone laugh (though there were elements of that there), but just a regular guy. I noticed during the interview with Larry that I most saw the real Misha when he was smiling and laughing. It's kinda sweet, really.

I also found this pic on Facebook. So happy someone did this because it's the first thing that came to my mind when I was recovering from this week's ep.

Was checking out Facebook tonight and found out an actor I worked with on an independent film back in 2008 was in last week's episode of Grimm!!!!

Now I've gotta download the ep and check it out! I'm so happy for him. He was my "Jensen Ackles" on the set: hunky and hot. Yeah, there was that time I brushed stuff off his black t-shirt. Muscles...OMG lol :P

I'm having all kinds of technological issues today.

The tally (so far):

- Facebook (can't get Words With Friends to load)
- Twitter (won't fully load most of the time or let me post a Tweet)
- Site Meter for my LJ (hasn't registered any visitors since 4 a.m. this morning)
- Photobucket (I can't log into my 2nd account - says the username & password are incorrect even though I know they are) Posted about it earlier.

This sucks out loud.

So if you see this post, will you please leave me a comment?
I need to know that LJ is working at least.

Crisis averted. Everything's working now. Still have no idea why they all seemed to go kaput at the same time.

So the viewing wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Actually the drive up north was more emotionally draining than actually being there. Mom was a bit frazzled before we left (& we left late) and there was some yelling & swearing involved which left me feeling very upset. But I did manage to keep it together during the drive even though I nearly lost it a few times and was very quiet. By the time we were at the funeral home I was calmer. We went into the little room and I took a quick look at him from afar, but the rest of the time I spent watching the video they'd put together of the photos we'd provided. They even played the music I'd burned on CD. Only one of grandpa's "breakfast buddies" stopped by while we were there (which wasn't long). Truth is, he's outlived just about everyone he knew, and I think most people are just waiting to attend the funeral services on Sat.

:: Can I have normal back?
These long days are so draining. We're often not getting home until late at night and I'm just beat. I catch up w/things online as much as I can, but I'm still behind and I know I'll never catch up completely...there's simply too much. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure I'm missing on some really cool stuff and that's bugging me. I'm missing all my TV shows too. Watched all of last week's shows on Saturday and this week I haven't even gotten one download. Was happy to at least watch the other night's Parenthood live on the TV. There's also LJ posts I haven't had time to do and so much for keeping up with the LJ comments in the new year. Total fail in that area so far. *sigh* I keep telling myself that after Saturday it'll get better, that there will be maybe a small semblance of normal returning. I sure hope so.

:: I've done it again
Why is it when I'm super busy I get inspired to jump into another area online? Why do I do this??? Anyway, I'm putting together another (yes, another!) LJ comm. I've been uploading pics and doing the prep work. I'm excited about the idea and I think (hope) it'll work. It'll just be me doing the posting. I know what you're thinking..."Is she nuts??? She posts so much now, is involved in so many places already....how can she possibly keep up with another comm?" Good question, but I'm going to give it a go anyway. I think people will like it. I'm not going to make it a heavy pressure situation for myself, but I've got some good ideas and I think as long as I keep it simple, it'll be do-able. I don't want to spill the beans about it quite yet, but I will say it's about SPN. What a shocker, right? *g* Stay tuned!

:: Facebook
I've alluded in the past about having a Facebook account, but I wasn't ready to add any of my LJ flisters. Well, I decided to finally take the plunge and add some of my friends on Facebook. I figure I'm not working any indy films now anyway, plus some of those people I've worked with have posted on their walls about their TV/movie interests, so why should I be afraid of showing my SPN colors? I love this show! Why hide it?

This is me!

Keep in mind, I do not talk about my LJ there, nor do I link to it any way on Facebook. I'd still like to keep that part of myself away from other relatives & past/potential future working contacts. Other than that...I'd love to friend you there. I did my best to find who I could, but some of you are kind of elusive. Please point me in the right direction with a link if you want me to add you over there. Thanks! :)

Oh, and I found I've gotten very addicted to the games over on Facebook. Been kind of a welcome distraction from real life right now when I can spare a little time to do something totally different. I think FrontierVille is my favorite. ;)

* New Year SPN Friending Meme - Promised wynefred I'd do one of these & I still want to make it happen.
* VanCon 09 & 2010 Reports - Still a few things left to post, like 2010 autos & photo-ops, location pics, etc.
* First Impressions for 6x09, 10, & 11 - My notes are still sitting in my email, waiting for some caps so I can get these done....with any luck before the show resumes on the 28th.
* Season 6 Screencaps - I've gotta work out a schedule for getting my caps done & posted. I've got a plan, it's just a matter of seeing if I can implement it. I'm all caught up with capping S6, but they're not uploaded which takes some time. We'll see how things go or I might just wait until summer hiatus to begin posting Season 6 caps, okay?
* Season 6 B&W Fanart - Haven't even begun on this, so it might be another candidate to wait until summer hiatus to begin on. ATM, I'd like to get some of the before-mentioned items done before I tackle more fanart.
* Flist Gifts - Some of you already got some little surprises during last month. Haven't gotten to everyone yet, and I still intend to. But now they'll be for your birthdays (if I know them) and everyone else will get their's as I come to your name alphabetically on my list. ;) Keep your eye on your LJ inboxes for a PM from me. *g*

Thanks again for your patience, your comments, messages, gifts....for simply being such a wonderful group of friends with your caring & love during these past few weeks. Sometimes I wish we could all gather for one big group hug, but I guess this will have to do for now.

I'm all messed up. Working on organizing our massive DVD collection all Monday does that to me I guess. Then I watched my normal Monday night programs, Dancing With The Stars and the new series Castle. I'm now signed up to vote for DWTS after all these seasons of being just a passive viewer. I have no absolute favorite so far, it's too early. Meanwhile, I liked this episode of Castle even more than the Pilot, though I'm starting to feel as I saw mentioned somewhere that Susan Sullivan's character of his mother seems out of place and unneeded. The daughter's fine, but the mom has to go, I think.

stolenglimpse and I worked together to try and figure out the mystery and confusion surrounding screencaps, aspect ratios, and resolutions. It took some time, but I think we each found answers for our own individual cap problems. Now that's some awesome teamwork! *high fives* \0/ Long story short? I can see now that the resolution for all of my DA caps is off. Yikes. Fixing them isn't a huge deal, but re-posting the new ones is. This is now on my long-term To-Do list. Ugh. :(

Took my walk after 3 days of not walking, but got home & then forgot to post about it. Ooops. So I guess this is my post....after a fashion. Anyway, the weather cleared up long enough for me to take my walk and while it was still cold and a bit blustery, it wasn't too bad. I sure did feel tired once I came home though. I guess missing 3 days had a big effect!

Oh, and thanks to growyourwings's encouragement I added Jim Beaver as a friend on Facebook! And he added me back Monday afternoon! Woot! I went ahead and then added a few of my filmmmaking contacts in the area. I also started looking for other friends, past classmates, filmmaking buddies, etc. One friend led to another friend and so on. I only added a couple of people, but one of them already added me back. I even ended up on MySpace and toyed with joining up there, but I'm not quite ready yet, so I held back on that for now.

Man...I'm so tired right now. I didn't get back to replying to comments *iz bad LJ friend* and now it's time to scramble and get my icon & cap posts up before I rush off to bed. I hope the rest of my Tuesday is a little more...normal?

I've joined Facebook.

Added MG as a friend right away, since he's the one that invited me. Good news...there were recent photos of him. Bad news...he's indeed in a relationship. Initial gut reaction? A little disappointment, but I'm okay with it. Really. It's not as if we were ever anything other than friends. If we can still be friends and nothing more I'm okay with it. I never knew him as anything more than that.

It's cool to see how many people I know or knew there. For now I'm going to wait and see who's interested in adding me as a friend.

I know some of you are on Facebook, too and probably want to add me there, but I'm still learning my way around and I want to take my time before I go adding a bunch of people. I'll let you know when I'm ready. ;)
