Sadly, we just lost the great director, Stanley Donen, last week. So I thought it all too fitting to post a scene from one of the films he's probably known for best, "Singing In The Rain". Sure, I could have posted one of the musical's many memorable song & dance numbers, but instead, I wanted to showcase the movie's humor. Ah, the early days of sound recording for film. It must have been challenging.
