Random Ramble

raloriaIt's an odd time for a rambly post, but then yesterday/this evening (or should that be morning? whatever...) has been kinda crazy anyway with all the S3 Gag Reel squeeing. I've got a little potpouri of items to talk about, so why not a random post?
I wouldn't want to deprive you of some Dean, so here's an oldie but a goodie. :D
*** New Browser Fun: I'm trying out a new browser for the Mac (this very second, actually). It's called Sunrise. Heehee. Yes, like the very important name of the apartments that a dying Meg mentioned in "Devil's Trap". No demons around here, however. ;) It's very lightweight. No frills, nothing fancy like themes and add-ons, but man! is it fast! One problem though....it won't show me a preview of my post. Hmmmm... So it's probably not going to become my default browser, but it's nice as an alternative.
*** Maybe it's the dilithium crystals?: Speaking of LJ and this new Sunrise browser, I was trying to open my LJ and messed up the URL. Got a 404 page instead with the following text:
LiveJournal Admin: Sir! We have reports that someone is trying to access a page that doesn't exist!
LiveJournal Captain: Impossible! How can that be?
LiveJournal Admin: Sir, I don't know. Maybe they typed in the URL wrong or maybe we're suffering from a critical system failure.
LiveJournal Captain: Unacceptable! Redirect them to a 404 page and make it snappy!
*giggles* Someone at LJ has a sense of humor. :D

spnnewsletter and got all giddy seeing my Eyeball Of Doom post listed there. Heehee! I'm on their watch list, but they don't consistantly get all my stuff and to see that wacky little post there just thrills me beyond belief. *iz dork* 
*** Someone needs to read Kilmer's "Trees": I came across this story about someone purposely poisoning trees in Seattle. WTH???? Trees produce oxygen. We need oxygen to breathe. The more trees we lose, the less oxygen we have. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. Even if it is someone doing it to improve their view....bad form! Trees are beautiful and we need all of them that we make room for.
*** A door closes, another opens: Got defriended again. No explanation, nothing. I won't lie, I always hate getting those defriending messages. It kinda brings down my day, you know? But the truth is, I get so many friendings all the time. I've got a wonderful flist and I don't know how many lurkers, so even though I lose a few every now and then, for the most part my flist is growing. I'm not trying for any popularity contests, but it's always nice to be appreciated which you all give to me every day with your comments. Have I told you lately, my lovely flist, how awesome you all are? Well you are. *big hug* :D
*** Mini Status Report: Despite a crazy week with various setbacks, I have made some progress on my to-do list.
DA Caps -- I'm uploading the final folders now and once I make my picspam cards I'll be ready to post some more!
Meta of Dean in DALDOM -- I actually made a start on this Monday. Woot! I'm giving myself until the end of this month to post this, so at least I'm heading in the right direction.
Fanfic -- My Crazy Muse had an insane idea when I woke up. I considered it, then decided it wouldn't work. It would have cleared up some difficulty I'm having, namely just how messed up Dean should be from his stay in hell. But in the end, I'm left with my original idea, which I'll make work....somehow. Heh.
