raloriaThis is totally random and silly and I'm sure most of you won't even care about this, but I just had to share...
I got a new external hard drive over the weekend. I have others, but they're big, bulky things. This one is small, yet still stores 160 gigabytes! The plan is to use it for working with video projects at the college. I've been taking one of my other 160GB hard drives with me in a big ole plastic container and it's kind of a pain to carry with my big backpack full of books and stuff as well. So small is a good thing!
So here is a photo of it in my hand. It's so cute! *pets hard drive* But also sleek and black and kinda sexy.
It's USB powered, so (yay!) no power cord to mess with! You just hook it up with the short little USB cord to the computer and away you go! The little blue circle lights up and you're in business! Oh, and it's Western Digital, btw. Most of my hard drives are WD and I've been very happy with them. I also got a cool deal on this by doing a price match at Best Buy with Circuit City's sale price. Score! Heehee! :D
I feel so uber cool with this thing. It reminds me of the type of cool equipment Sydney Bristow would use on Alias when she had to get files from a computer somewhere. It's just the type of techy piece of equipment Marshall would give her. I used it yesterday at the college computer lab to edit my group's film footage that we shot last weekend. Btw, I'll be letting you know how our film shoot went in an upcoming post. It was quite a day!
Meanwhile, it's only Monday. *Sigh* Still 3 days until the next SPN episode. I'm really looking forward to this one. The Director's Cuts were great. I giggled so hard over the second clip. They are so cute, our boys!
