raloriaI'm kinda sleepy and it's making me a bit silly. This is just a little random amusement...
I was driving home from picking up supper tonight, listening to one of the local classic rock radio stations and they played 2 songs from SPN in a row! When I tuned it in they were playing Paranoid by Black Sabbath (from Phantom Traveler). Instantly I heard Dean in my head, "Aw, man! I look like one of the Blues Brothers!" Haha! Big grin instantly on my face. After that song finished they did their little station id and then they went right into Bad Moon Rising by CCR!!!! I was one happy fangirl! Sadly, the SPN songfest ended there and their next song was something I wasn't familiar with at all. But it was great fun while it lasted!
Oh, and last night during Dancing With The Stars, this commercial came on and they were playing In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly! Turns out it was a commercial for Fidelity Investments - weird combo. Looks like Kripke's classic rock influence is catching on!
Hope everyone's enjoying the new layout! I think it's basically the way I want it. I'll keep making some minor tweaks for a little while, but the overall look is just the change I needed. Now I'm excited to open my LJ page! I'll keep the Dean header for now, since I haven't had a chance to finish my Sam & Dean one yet. I know...you're all crushed because you have to look at Dean staring into your eyes. ;)
Warning: this next paragraph is going to make no sense if you didn't see Lost tonight. If you don't like Lost or you love it and haven't seen this episode yet, you can move along...
Random thoughts on tonight's episode of Lost (which I'm still watching, but there's only 15 min. left, so...whatever). I actually missed last week's ep (duh!), but this episode is really something. Lots of revelations....Charlie's the one who snatched Sun...and as always...more questions. Just who are these two new characters anyway? Why introduce them just to kill them off? And why won't they close the poor dead guy's eyes already???? It was fun seeing Boone and Shannon again, though. And Sawyer is like the Dean Winchester of Lost. His lines are cracking me up tonight. :) Sorry...watching again... Oooo! Creepy spider! *eeek!* Jeez people, they're diamonds and you're on a deserted island. Just what do you think you're going to do with them??? OMG! She didn't say "Palo lies" she said "paralyzed"!!!! Guys...stop!!! They aren't dead! Too late...Ooooops! :P
On another note...I'm so happy and overwhelmed by the response to my Pollo Loco picspams! It was so nice to see 20 messages waiting for me in my email. I'll be getting to my replies as soon as I can. But thank you so much for all the comments. You guys rock!!! :D
And just to let you all know...I'm working on checking out all my flist's LJs. I won't be able to leave a comment on everyone's page, but know that I did stop by and did read your latest entries. *hugs flist* :)
